England lost because they parked the bus after 1 minute and an half, Southgate tried to defend a thin 1-0 for 90 minutes and at this level is such a bad move. England lost the momentum in the first part of the game, they should have tried to capitalize in the first 20 minutes when italy was messed up by the first goal. The best and more active team won, Italy deserved it

@@vati702 we played Germany who dismantled favourites Portugal in the same tournament and Denmark who were brilliant in the tournament (were unlucky to lose to belgium) and have been brilliant for a while now. Why are we only ‘worthy’ if we beat a France? You can only beat what’s in front of you. A semi final and final at Wembley is very nice but that shouldn’t be a reason for us being ‘unworthy’. To top this all off, I was referring to when we played against Denmark (where we undoubtedly dominated)

The one that didn't celebrate that early England goal was Southgate which normally goes frantic when England scores, the clue was right there in what he thought was going to happen and that was he expected Italy to get back in the game which they did, in other words, England scored too early for it to mean anything. In the end, the best team won, not just of the match but the entire tournament.
