I'm not even a Trump supporter anymore, but when I listen to Mark Hamill, I want to hear more about his career and not him bashing nearly half the fan base. It's honestly gotten to the point, for me, that it's almost difficult to separate Mark from his characters, because I've been watching his performance as Luke Skywalker and can't help but wonder one thing: "What happened to you?" Oh, and on the bright side, Acolyte got cancelled.

Goes to show how sad and pathetic these kind of people like Mark are. We know the media likes to goad celebrities into disclosing their political beliefs, and there's one such famous metal band frontman who was asked his and his response, "I don't like to talk politics, I just like to talk music." Now that's a professional response from an entertainer! You keep all your fan base, everybody likes you for it, and you're much more admired and respected!

What is really tragic is that Mark has more or less done... well... very little with his career. Yes, he had all the voice work and for a lot of people he will always be remembered for his Batman related voice work. For people who don't do the Batman thing, or people who haven't the ear to pick out who voice actors are, he is just known as Luke from the OT. Including the one he is filming now Mark has been in 39 movies over his career (1977 to Now). 6 of them are Star Wars related. One seems to be a documentary. Six don't seem to have Wikipeepee entries. None of them seem to have him as the lead unless you want to claim the OT. (as comparison Carrie is credited with 51 movies, is of course no longer with us to perform and wasted multiple years of her career doing drugs) (Grud, even Mayhew has 12 movie credits and he took all of the 90s off) So he is basically Luke. Now as much as some people are going to be angry (look, on Monday I found and returned someone's purse, so I have some Good Karma to spend by being a troll now. So suck it up), OT Star Wars is a group of Old Movies that a large amount of the public no longer relate that well to. The Prequels were mid and for the public the Sequels are their reference point. We all know about the Sequels and it is very clear from all the Disney Plus stuff that Star Wars is no longer making an impression on the general public. So what is he doing with his life? He is like George from Star Trek. Sitting on socials living off the idea that he is some sort of cultural icon and believing that icon status gives him the power to pass judgement on other people. Sorry Mark but the only things you are qualified to pass judgement on is how the voice acting industry works, what you had for breakfast, acting in the OT and what it was like to come back for the sequels. You were there for those things. We need to respect your words on those topics. For anything else you are just some dude. You do not own The Force. You do not get to say who can and can't have it. Seriously dude, sort your life out.
