It's all about the music. Their last album, released in 2023, was among their best. You should give it a listen. The pleasantly surprising thing about Blur is that they're still here. Enjoy it.
"Seen worse" is never good, your body language and facial expressions Mr MK tell me all I need to know, "a chore rather than a pleasure" is what I'm getting.
@@NaomiC247 Yes, exactly. I liked Blur and went to see them many times in concert and I will watch and probably enjoy this doc. Some of my mates who didn't like the group won't even know it exists, and wouldn't watch 5 mins of it if they did.
I just watched it and thought it was so interesting to see the background to what was one of the most memorable comebacks last year for the band! I was at Wembley last year and it was my first concert of Blur’s, followed by the second concert only a few weeks later in Hammersmith of the new album. I think your review is very harsh imo. there is a lot of interesting information and background of the band and what they have been through that I never knew. Damon was in dark place after his relationship of ended and he found himself alone in a farm house and I think it’s beautiful the story picks up from when the band get together to start practice and the contrasts to when they started as kids way back when. I guess documentaries celebrating a massive comeback last year with a new credible album from the band ( no many 90s bands doing new stuff that sells) does not hit the high bar anymore! I love it and can’t wait to see the full Wembley concert again!
Wow I didn't know blur was so hated lol. They've been my favorite band for ages and hard for me to imagine how someone whose heard a much of their musical range could think of them as boring.
Damon laying uncomfortably on a chair with his glasses askew is all I needed to see. Still, at least the self hating Essex boy is over being interviewed in pubs.
@@Gggwwwppp I know much more than you, that's for sure mate! The way you use the word music and the making of it sure comes off like someone full of frivolous fodder and crap. Let me summarise your existence in 2 words: Insufferable Troll!!!
@@CalimoshListen to Think Tank or his solo album. And name me one popular artist of more merit! He is pompous but calling him mediocre is ignorance or trolling!
Most overrated british band of the 90s...reading about their shitty behavior in miki berenyis biography tells me all i need to know about albarn and co.
Oasis never took themselves seriously, good melodic tunes and some great performances. Nothing to get your teeth stuck into but some real classic universal pop rock stuff there. You know where you stand with them. Blur? Too self absorbed and contrived to be 'interesting'. I think its telling how Oasis's documentary Supersonic is so far superior to this film.
There's more bigger and better bands out there that are more intetestinhnthan Blur. Why this band needed another documentary about themselved or more to the point why did we need another about them.
If you don’t like them why are you wasting your energy on a RU-vid comment section essentially saying to those that do like them oh I wish they would just end? Just pathetic mate.
Since this reunion was mooted, filmed, edited and before it was PR'd and released etc - they've all fallen out again right? Albarn had had enough - again - and flounced back off to his solo career again...Alledgedly...
