But dont worry, nothings wrong in falling in love with Mark Knopfler as we, the fans all around the world fall in love with this amazing artist over and over again every time we listen to him❤ Love you both❤❤ And yes do you know what? I've managed to make that amazing solo guitar of Mark at the end of the song as my cellphone ringtone since the first release of the song! 💕 Love your reaction! So glad you understand why this song reminds me of you two. The sound you’re hearing IS a “Hawaiian guitar” better known in North America as a “pedal steel guitar” and typically used in country and bluegrass music. This is one of Mark's greatest love songs, it's so beautiful, the guitar outro is gorgeous, you should really watch the live version of this song from the A Night in London concert.

Mark was the lead guitarist, singer and songwriter of the rock band Dire Straits from 1977-1988, and from 1990 to 1995. He pursued a solo career after the band dissolved, and is now an independent artist. So if the name sounds familiar, he has had a great career with Dire Straits and now on his own.

yes, i love Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler solo. Btw these 2 have reacted a lot to Dire Straits already, just in case u wanna check out. For example "Tunnel of Love" with this fantastic guitar parts.

I think I put a comment under every one of your MK/DS reactions, that you HAVE TO listen to this song, and you'll fall in love with Mark and his guitar playing. Now I know I was right 😊 good to see you share this love, stay blessed ❤️ like many others, I also suggest checking out the live version (maybe in your free time) from 'A Night In London', or better yet, from Shepherd's Bush Empire (Notting Hillbillies) - that is the best solo of them all, just magical ❤️ also, this song (as most of the Golden Heart record) was written for the love of his life, Kitty, when they were only dating. Worth checking out the title track itself, or 'Rudiger', a lot of great tunes, MK at his peak 🙂

Lead singer of Dire Straits…..Sultan’s of Swing, Money For Nothing, Walk of Life, Brothers in Arms, etc. This is from his fabulous solo album Golden Hearts. One of the best guitarists!
