“Chain for the ripsaw..killer for the weed”.. I’m always struck by how these lyrics evoke memories that I have of a family member’s life on her farm years ago… She passed away many years back. The rest of the song continues to do the same. As an aged person, I close my eyes and remember being a young adult and helping out around the farm..takes me back to such simpler times. Master storyteller balladeer is why I’ve loved your music Mark …all these many years ❤️
