love this version so much. I've been listening to Mark for 30+ years, and at some point I convinced myself he'd just live forever, and the music would never end. He'd survived so much, he seemed immortal.

This song is so goddamn beautiful. A true poet...with a powerful, soulful voice. Brings tears to my eyes just listening to him sing...the messages behind his words...cryptic and powerful. He was truly one of a kind as far as lyricists / vocalists If the end of the world is about to happen, just give me some good drugs and some Mark Lanegan to listen to that's all I ask LOL
