Just watched this the other day, and find myself watching it again today, not believing that Mark has left this world. Rest easy, Mark. You touched more people than you could ever possibly know.
Asi es!!! sigo extrañandolo...el sera siempre para mi, los paseos en invierno por la playa, con mi perro y un porrito.Que descanses Mark..espero tener la suerte de cruzarte del otro lado.
R.I.P Mark Lanegan. The world just lost another great musician. But you did what you had to do while you were here. Thank you. Your music and voice live on. 🙏
JFYI the song was written by John Cale, he released it on his album Slow Dazzle from 1975: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HgjZBGYSwDw.htmlsi=Ik93-lZHzEus_0Ah

Thanks, Vevo, for making me watch professional athletes shave for thirty seconds before watching this music video. It was relevant to the topic of the video and effective motivation for me to buy the product you were advertising.
JFYI this is a cover from John Cale, who released it on his album Slow Dazzle from 1975: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HgjZBGYSwDw.htmlsi=Ik93-lZHzEus_0Ah
Why on earth would anybody nitpick about a wonderful cover of a wonderful song written by a wonderful genius and sung by a wonderful singer? Some people spend far too much time analyzing music rather than just giving in to it. It's not an intellectual exercise. On another note, I wonder who the gentleman in the video is? It's a great talent to be able to convey that level of despair and emptiness without ever speaking.
I stumbled upon this as the result of being on a massive Velvets, Lou Reed, John Cale, etc. kick. This is an incredible version in large part to the visuals that accompany the song. It brings an already devastating song to that next level. I will have to check out Mark Lanegan's other stuff.
When my lady passes me by I lose the love I thought I had in mind Send no flowers or words of regret Cause I'm not the loving kind Day by day I was hoping you'd be The kind of love that would give me peace of mind But it may just have passed me by Cause I'm not the loving kind Oooh, aah... I'm not the loving kind Oooh, aah... Cause I'm not the loving kind You don't believe it, yes it must be true How I lost all the love I had in you Send me please no words of regret Cause I'm not the loving kind Oooh, aah... Cause I'm not the loving kind

People, please. This is a John Cale song. Mark wants you to know and respect that fact, as you do him no honor with ridiculously misplaced praise. Praise him for putting such important artists in your face.
This song is like it was talkin' bout me, like is written by me. There is a girl who loves me but I can't stand these kind of things, I'm suffucating my feelings for this girl. I Love a Woman that I'll never see in my life and I sacrifice all my life and everything to follow this Love and impossible dream I have . "You don't believe it, yes it must be true How I lost all the love I had in you Send me please no words of regret Cause I'm not the loving kind" These are words that describe perfectly this situation. :-(
The ticket to the meaning of the song was that last scene. Such an entertaining video, but, gee wiz, there's some huge complexity amidst "the birds and the bees" that we fail to educate ourselves on...especially given our current culture. I thank Mark for giving us a piece of art to provoke some conversation.
