Remember watching this at the time and thought I was hearing things. Funniest thing on TV for years, had to look it up on here as I thought I must have been imagining it or just back from the pub! No wonder he has not been seen on tv since.(worth the licence fee on its own although I watch YT only these days as fkd off with being ripped off by the BBC).

If you listen to what he says at 11 seconds " they have got a really good footballing side" - well that helps if you play football rather than cricket !!! After all - its football they are playing isn't it ? - To think these fellows get paid over 100K a year to give us these huge pearls of wisdom - any idiot can say that a team is "a very good footballing side" - nice work if you can get it !!!!! - I wish I could work for Match of the Day as a pundit !!!!
