It's a shame and a disgrace that this happened. However, it has given people the opportunity to see how it feels to be hated to the point where people have no regard for your life. When people don't care that you actually are human, a person who has feelings and family that loves you. To be dehumanized is a different kind of hatred, it's vile and absolutely void of any empathy, you are viewed on the level of being a 'thing' and it becomes hunting season on your life. I am an independent conservative, I am a black woman and I know all to well what it is to be dehumanized. It's been happening to the American black people for hundreds of years now.

I don't know about terrified, it's not like I'd be going to bed of a night worried about the families safety hoping we survive the night. There's lot of unnecessary fears on both sides, it never use to be like this. Voting during the last 40+ years was never as reactionary as it is now. I'm not trying to dehumanize him but they way Trump behaved after the last election was just wrong, all the violence over nothing. I just pray if the unthinkable happens he doesn't go off accusing everyone & whipping up the mob. That's kinda what scares me the most, surely after that that nightmare Jan 6th both sides have to ensure that doesn't happen again.
