On a November afternoon in 1984, the best WR duo on the NFL at the time, would go for 4 TD 200+ yds and make Mark Malone look like Marino for an afternoon. As by a popular request, I had to include Mark Malone and his epic mustache in a video for once. Thanks for watching!

I was at that game with my late father and good friend Lindsay in 84! I was 11 years old and my favorite memory is one not shown on the clip. Gary Anderson opened the scoring with a 55 yd FG! A Steelers record that would stand for years! Good times!!!

Charlie Joiner actually broke the record for career receptions in this game. Charley Taylor had 649 receptions and was the all-time leader at the time. Joiner got #650 during this game. It's hard to believe that now. There is a lot more passing now, and Joiner is 40th on the all-time list now.

Nice to see Mark Malone confident and burning the Chargers secondary. The all Baylor backfield with my first ever Steeler hero Frank Pollard. Lipps and Stallworth far too good for the DBs and the O Line giving Malone all day to throw. Merriweather in his first Pro Bowl year forcing Fouts out of the game. Even Lambert in thick of things when he hardly played that season and retired at the end of '84. Go Steelers !

Stallworth retired in 1987, am I right? Miss him. I never had the privilege to see him play, only videos like these. I was born in 1984 and I started watching my Steelers around ‘91-‘92. Probably ‘92 since that’s when Cowher became HC. It’s so weird there will 18 weeks this season, 9 home games. I’m hoping for a safe and awesome 2021-2022 season. Booooo Ravenssss. Lol. I love watching them getting their asses whipped by the Steelers, ESPECIALLY in Baltimore. I’ve never actually been to a NFL football game, but when I do go, want it to be PIT@BAL. I’m sure it’ll be way better in Pittsburgh but like I said I just loved seeing them lose there. I used to live in west Baltimore. I’d rock my Polamalu jersey everywhere. I have 4 and all 4 players do not play for Pittsburgh anymore. Black Polamalu jersey, white Woodley jersey, black Miller jersey (gave to my dad) and the ‘34 throwback Keisel. I want another white jersey. I was thinking Franco Harris. I’ve wanted the old style blocky numbers for a while, and I want to spend $300 or more maybe. Here we go Steelers, HERE WE GO!
