I was there. The UC was so loud you barely heard the lyrics. It was pure magic. Every single person in that place sung as loud as they could and the energy was there. I truly believe blink was blown away by Chicago that night, their best show by far
u think that’s the bands choice???? everything is fucking expensive right now. get a grip, it’s the world right now. shit is not how it should be. shit is expensive
They literally have no control over ticket prices. That’d be Ticketmaster getting greedy because they don’t want scalpers making money off tickets. So they raised the prices to what they know scalpers were selling them at. If a scalper bought a ticket for $50 and sold it for $100, thats a 100% return, and ticket master doesn’t like that. Hence as to why they were so high. Believe it or not, the bands you go to see at big or smaller venues have no say in the ticket prices. Unless it’s a personal show put on by the band in a place they rent out. Same thing with merch. The venues charge the bands outrageous cuts of their merch sales. So it causes the prices to go up. At least know a little bit of what you’re talking about before speaking.
@@christopherkimber7679they think the band gets 100 percent of the money or something. as if everyone in these giant venues aren't getting a piece of that pie too
@@christopherkimber7679That’s actually not true. The band and their management are the people who ask for a specific amount of money per ticket, it all flows on from there. If the band wants more money, the ticket prices go up. Think of The Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift at $500-$1,000 a pop. That’s because the artist is hiking up the price.
