been to hundreds of concerts, and seeing light the torch, and mark morton in a tiny venue on the first night of the tour has to be one of my favorites of all time.
Not gonna lie... I was hoping to to hear Howard's metal voice lol. Not a bad song though. This just goes to show Howard Jones' range, and versatility. Definitely one of my many favorite vocalists
Last week my son was listening to this song, I said who's that, he says Mark Morton, Howard Jones is singing, I have no idea who these men are. What I do know is I'm totally blown away by Howards voice, I get this David Bryon/Ian Gillian vibe, yes for all you young people Uriah Heep/Deep Purple :P
This one is good. The other acoustic tracks just are not my thing. But I understand the need go a different route sometimes. Props for doing what's in your heart.
So funny to think I was watching simpsons with Howard in a van in 1998 on a bhbs tour when my buddy played guitar in the band I knew then he was the shit. Glad everyone knows now.
Love the chorus and guitar work. The verses? Not so much.. don't like the falsetto / high harmony. Howard should have just sang with his regular powerful voice.
