Please save rugby union form becoming obscure in Oceania. I was beginning to idolize him since the last super rugby season. IMO, he and Penaud are the best wingers in the world right now. It's so sad to see him defect to rugby league.

Class player really disappointed he’s going to league, that’ll make the lions tour less good. At least he’ll be playing in 2024 though before Suaalli comes

Hopefully he’s back in 2027 for the World Cup - he’s been one of the positives in a poor Australian team so really disappointing to see him go

@@pondbus1nessfortunately he’s expressed an interest in returning to union for 2027 - tbh I think it’s rly smart, let rugby Australia sort itself out a bit and then come back for the home World Cup

@zacariahanderson hes not back, he just hasnt left yet. and schmidt's appointment is a non factor at this point, within 2 decades there will be no professional rugby in Australia

Extra space? Union you get far more space as an outside back. He will get more touches though because in League wingers have to do the one out exit set runs where you run straight into the big forwards with zero space and no support.

Stop being hysterical ffs, apart from Australia it's as strong as it's ever been. Union doesn't have a god given right to be the bigger code everywhere, Aussies have clearly decided which code they prefer and everywhere else union "wins" if you want to see it that way.

@VitaLNikoli They went bust because of piss poor management by the suits not because of a lack of fans or players. The fact wasps are basically going to choose where's best to start again shows the sport is healthy enough to recover from it. 2 clubs in one league in one country hasn't had the slightest impact on the sport as a whole worlrwide, was the world cup any less popular because wasps and Worcester went bust? No, so what are you on about mate?
