To create inspired by the artist Mark Rothko-Color field. 

In this clip we will create color fields inspired by Mark Rothko in three different ways using watercolors.
The art of color fields is a movement within abstract art, born in New York during the forties and fifties. Color field painting is mainly characterized by the use of continuous surfaces of uniform and flat color spread over the surface of the fabric or stained into the fabric.
The color is freed from the objective relationship and becomes a subject in itself.
Mark Rothko was one of the painters who created the fields of color. For him, color was "only a tool". His paintings are characterized by floating squares in different colors on huge canvases, and he saw art as a means of transporting the viewer to a spiritual and sublime place through the world of colors. Rothko is interested in expressing emotions through the use of color.
