The eighth release in the Mushroom 50 singles series, Mark Seymour covers 'Even When I'm Sleeping' by Leonardo's Bride. The second single from Leonardo’s Bride’s debut album, Angel Blood - ‘Even When I’m Sleeping’ won Song of the Year at the APRA Awards and the songwriting association later declared it to be one of the Top 30 greatest Australian songs of all time.
Mark Seymour is a constant thread in the fabric of Mushroom, with his band Hunters & Collectors signing to Mushroom Records’ specially-created White Label in 1981. His contribution to Australian music and to the Mushroom story is profound.
