Apples is much higher quality and higher resolution. They are two completely different headsets designed for completely different purposes. The quest doesn’t do well for productivity and work, it’s meant for gaming. The Vision Pro is obviously a much better product given it costs so much more, it’s not even sensible to compare the two

I’m an apple hater and I’ve got to say, the Apple Vision Pro is def better than the meta quest for everything EXCEPT gaming. Meta quest only beats the Apple Vision Pro in gaming

How does he not understand that the hardware on the Vision Pro is miles better than the hardware on the quest. Even if the quest has just as much if not more use cases than the Vision Pro, the Vision Pro is still way better because the quest could never do anything the Vision Pro does.
I love these new features. His new scalable enthusiasm is set to 8, his smile emote activation is working, and they expanded his range of hand gestures.
Zuck here is just probably proud of the Quest 3 because they saw the failure of the Quest Pro and created the a device that is superior and can compete with the Quest 2. It is like Valve creating the steam deck: yeah, it is not a gaming PC or a Console, but it is so well crafted for the value. Anyone can make a device with an higher cost and better specs. There is already an headset with 6k screens... The big achievement is to create something that can sell well and make costumers happy.

I'm so glad he is! VR is truly a bad ass medium to engage with content but it needs someone like Zuck that has an endless cash flow on one end, to pour into it endlessly to get it to a point you see some real competition and innovation in that field. Look at how much Meta has dumped into VR, dude is determined to make it work!
