I’ve been asking this to my wife at random times for years. She has no idea what I am saying or where I got it from. Example: “The kitchen is a mess. I don’t feel like cleaning.” “Who doowit da white boo hacha?” “What?” “What?”
Man......He just picked up the table leg and beat down one of his own ....like he was the cause of it. Screwface wasn't no joke!!!!! It was like Nesta told Hatcher, " Screwface give me a death a thousand times worse than you will!!!!"
Poor guy who got the leg in the face. every one knew screwface was going to kick off but he was to into that game of dominoes to get out of the way in time. LOL.
I was thinking about this particular scene earlier today and wondered whether it was on youtube. And tada!!! Everytime I see it, I'm always like: "Damn he was really pissed about losing Nesta." Screwface/Basil Wallace should've won an Oscar for this scene alone.
@@phillipwattsjr.4714 also when he said "I go kill him, and then I gon kill you" was repeated by Snipes in that movie only with an American accent and his line before that "I want Hatcher dead!, I want his family dead!" was from The Untouchables
Love this film! There are a load of drum and bass samples throughout, and it was weird watching the film for the first time, already knowing the samples. My favourite quotes: "I got ya where I want ya boy, ya jus like a dog without teeth" "one thought he was invincible, the other thought he could fly.... they were both wrong!" Seagal is hilarious in this film. I love the way he slaps his little nephew around at the family get-together, and when he escapes the exploding car in the nick of time, is flown through the air and comes up holding his pistol ready. Ya bad boy!
NYCMESBRNX I also agree with you that Basil Wallace was brilliant as the villain in this. It’s one of my favourite seagal films Basil Wallace was really bad and convincing. 👍🏾.
Yep. That guy should of gotten more villain roles. The way he goes from 0 to 100 from calm and collected to an enraged psycho was truly terrifying. Few actors are that convincing (takes Daniel Day Lewis talent)
Screwface is one of the most underrated villians in this early 90s film engine if he had a role in the 92 cartoon series in batman the animated series that would've been cool
Did anyone notice the look on the guy's face sitting at the table right after the news was delivered to Screwface? He look like he was about to shit his pants! He knew to get out of the way after Screwface flipped the table!
both came out the same year, 1990 and both from the same studio, 20th Century Fox and yeah both had Jamaican Yardie gangsters. In that one it was King Willie who got his head chopped off by Predator. Coincidentally that happens to Screw face too in this
Basil Wallace was the actor who played him who is Jamaican in real life but is a gifted stage actor as well before he landed the role of Screwface which was his first film role.
What an incredible scene & Basil was great all the way through the movie. The greatest realistic villain with murderous venom I've ever seen, just highly underrated. He played this same similar character in Bokeem Woodbine's movie "Caught Up" but not anywhere near as great as this, but still good. Caught Up is a great movie though.
@krystalcamron Basil Wallace is was born in Jamaica but grew up in New York, Jeffrey Anderson Gunther who is seen giving the message to screwface is Jamaican. the guy playing Nesta is from St Lucia and the guy playing Charles is Trini so i could understand your arguement there, but they did alright. what country was it that they went to that was supposed to be jamaica?
Those of you who remember the opening scence in Eddie Murphy's RAW should also know that young Eddie's dad was played by Basil Wallace(Screwface). Samuel Jackson was also in that scene.
REMEMBER PEOPLE IN THE HISTORY OF MOVIE'S IT TOOK A JAMAICAN "YARD MAN" TO COME BACK TO THE REPLY OF SEGAL'S TYPICAL CUSS WORDS TO HIM OF "FU*K YOU" & TO WHICH SCREWFACE RESPONSE " SO WHA, ME LOOK LIKE A WOMAN??" "YOUR NUTTIN' BUT A DOG WITHOUT NO TEETH!!" BRILLIANT ANSWER!! JUNIOR FROM LONDON 🇬🇧🇬🇧😂😂😂
@rosss1959 it is him, he was also on a different world as ron's bandmate, and kim's boyfriend spencer boyer in the second to last season. His name is michael ralph, brother of sheryl lee ralph
You know actually the car chase is like really epic... You know I really dig those flash Segway scenes where you see that BMW doing a whole bunch of maneuvering but then it flashes real quick as if the camera is right in front of the windshield and Jamaican dude beholding the wheel at 10 and 2 and just wiggling it an inch or two left and right and left and right left and right and sitting on the seat like there's some hot nails under it... And in the BMW be going up on the sidewalk and crashing through shit and back on the street and hanging a big old 90° turn and then that quick Segway camera right in front of windshield and Jamaican dude be like hands on 10 and 2 wiggling the wheel and injure to left and right left and right left and right looking back sitting on a hot seat of nails.... An dat BMW ENGINE only got one sound like dude put it in neutral and just rev the engine...BUUUUHHHHWEHNNNNNNNNNNNNGRRRRRRRR BUUUUHHHHWEHNNNNNNNNGRRRRRRRR ... I mean like it's not Predator...DIS AIN'T NO PREDATOR, I DIDN'T SAY NOTHING ABOUT NO PREDATOR.... But this movie right here it got things mang'..
Yeah, One of the best movies I ve ever saw, in the cinemas, great Avtors, Great professionals, wonderful scenes, we need more like this one, But lately years the Industry have been so poor in the art. What a Pity....
