I started it for fun, now I'm getting some money from partnership. If you ask me if I do this for money or fun - mostly fun, it's really nice feeling when people like your videos and thank you for uploading them ;) And I myself like to watch the POVs too :D Of course money is important after all, but there's no serious money on YT unless you have at least 500,000 views/month (I got ~170,000 in December and it's my best record).
Haha, I don't watch ALL the POVs from beginning to end :P Some of them yes, but not all :P About IGL thing, well, I was never a IGL material, I just felt much better as a simple shooter, but sure I know plenty of tricks/tacticts/positions. One thing about my gameplay: I was always first to "help" (boosting, flashes, cross positioning, checking the flank etc.) and check some unusual spots/back (to be sure there will be no surprise). I believe that I was "teamplayer" :P
And I don't play CS 1.6 anymore, maybe sometimes on some public server with friends, but it's very, very rare. Right now I mostly play single player games. I will maybe play CS:GO in future as few of my buddys want to make a team, but I'm not sure if it will be something "serious" :P Sorry for double comment, I couldn't fit it in one. Hope the answer is sufficient :D
They were low on money, if they would have tried to defuse, there were chances they would not be able to do so, and end up losing their guns as well. They saved their guns for the next round. Economy is very important in cs. To regain Good economy, it can take 2-3 rounds.
