@@jameswa4013 yeah they will. go ahead and buy up all the boxes when they drop to $200 and watch your money disappear. there's 100 cards in the set and 5 cards people want. those cards will all drop to under $15. the entire box EV is less than $100. continue to listen to rudy and throw your money away.

Thanks for pin Rudy! Just don't forget you told them to buy all boxes under $300, or even $350 as you said in the last video. $500 price potential for 2/3 the quantity of cards you get out of a Fallout box and only 1/4 of the card pool? Come on, even you know that's not possible.

A lot of the licensed stuff isn't trash and have huge fanbases. Assassin's creed has repeatedly spat in their fans mouths though, so they don't really have many fans.

I like the theme around bloomburrow and will check the Assassin Creed CB and build that epic scene. Maybe go for some single cards but not more. Bloomburrow looks like a great set and well done Wizard!

"player driven" is vocabulary that corporations like Hasbro erased from their memory.

What's funny is that Wizards seems to have almost no faith in it. Like, at MTG Amsterdam they glossed over it almost completely which is strange because it's the next big set and spoiled a ton of Duskmourn instead

They're soft-shoeing Bloomburrow because they want to justify not having original products. Hasbro clearly have no confidence in MTG as its own IP. Look at it this way: if you turn it into an only licensed product you will pay for the licenses as several one time costs, but you get to throw away all of the costs required to develop your own IP. These are running costs that idiot business majors are desperate to get as low as possible. This is why the licensed stuff is trash. If it continues the game will lose its identity and only exist as a grab bag of random sets that everyone will walk away from. I have no interest in a deck mixed of Fallout, LotR, Doctor Who and all of the Marvel trash everyone's sick of. At some point there will be a Star Wars set. That will basically be the end of the game. It'll sell to people with houses full of Funko Pops like gangbusters and that's all they'll make going forward. LOTR seeing so much success was the worst thing to have happen, despite the set being pretty good. It showed the executive levels that buying in IP is the future and not that that one IP was a really good fit.

@@thek838 numbers only tell a part of the story. Assassin's creed does not have dedicated fans. Video games have dedicated fans and many of them happen to spend a few bucks on assassin's creed games, but no one is out there buying supplemental AC goods. The fans of AC have a love/hate relationship with AC. They are not strongly dedicated to it, and will ignore it if it isn't in a form they care about

Considering it's one of the best selling video games series of all time I don't know what your on.

@@markusbetts There isnt though. Most of the cards that might see modern play have better options. There are some new design for commander but with no commander decks, most commander players will buy singles and not sealed product. This set has very little value.

This set made black market connections and temporal trespass affordable which is a win in my eyes. Don’t sleep on eagle vision. Card is kinda cracked

I would argue the open world trilogy of Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla is pretty good, & the new Japanese one looks good also.

Lol, the name tanks it, in my opinion. Always a subpar game experience. I like the story aspects of the games, and maybe newer games fix it, but it always felt like trash.

Assassins creed is mediocre trash. It sells well because the target audience are casual players who wants an easy and visually nice adventure. Never changed anything in Videogame history, boring AF game for boomer. Call me again when something crazy like Dark Souls, Skyrim or Cyber Punk gets a set.​@@isaiahsmith8379

Got a bundle and got 3 copies of some cards that's a joke when you open 9 packs hell some had 2 of the same card in the pack
