I am someone who had issues in the markets because I just can not do subjectivity , once I figured this out the sky was the limit, one thing about reading highs and lows is its so dang subjective, I needed a rule on how to read it mechanically , and you sir just did that . Took me years !

I'm confused because your rule says a candle needs to close below the candle to the left. There were several times where a candle DID close below the candle to the left but it wasn't considered a swing low. The 7th candle closed below the 6th. It wasn't a big move for the example I'm talking about but it's the easiest to point out.

You saying that a SWING is only a swing with BOS, but why then y write all those swiings low if there isnt any BOS, there are just HL. they cannot be swing low

Awesome! One question though. How do we incorporate inducement areas in this approach? Or can we assume that a structure point is considered an inducement if it's a substructure/minor structure above or below a POI at the extreme of the swing range?

Sometimes even in H4 timeframe, it gets confused when price tries to wick-sweep just a few cents or points of either Swing High or Swing Low (created equal high/low) then reverse. In such cases, can we still hold respect to those levels and see it as non market structure shift? Appreciated!

I would say that isnt a valid BOS, unless the candle closes above a swing or below, that in my eyes would not be a swing but possibly just liquidity being tapped into

It makes no sense at all. Swings are HH or HL there is no BOS in LH Ll so why would you call them swings ? U just say its inside of the swings low swing high then u say there is a swing only after BOS but u still draw swing highs. Make no sense

I appreciate your comment and confusion. The BOS's are relative to the type of structure, it can be a major swing bos or a minor swing bos, a substructure bos an internal structure bos or whatever. However I'm aware it all gets a little overcomplicated which is why I've really simplified things down in my trading these days and only focus on current price.

@@_magicfx thank you for your answer ! Yes, in the end its just theory and everything is fractal i could be defining local swings on 1min time frame. But the bigger the time frame is, the better it will react. Same for fibonnaci. You never want to be that guy trying to short every fib retraces in a pump because u are focused on small swings one after the other.
