Marking out and crosscutting maple 

Cutting some maple to size for a pair of box ends. I use the walnut sides to gauge the size needed then mark out with a pencil, then using a kiridashi knife to cut the line, finally a chisel to give a line the saw can track along.
Crosscut using the bench hook and a veritas crosscut saw.
