He took it a step further to use his influence to become charitable. What an amazing person!

Mark talking about how the death of the make-a-wish girl is heartbreaking. To see him choke up like that and- ugh. It’s really humanizing. And I like how, now with UnusAnnus, he’s kind of accepting that people die and you have to live like every day is your last.

not trying to sound rude, but honestly it sounded a bit fake to me, not the story but the reaction when he was talking about her death, the long pauses and blank stare just looks like a bad act of sadness, reality is, if it indeed happened a long time ago, it wouldn't affect you to the point you stop talking unless you're trying to think of a way to make it more dramatic and gain more followers/charisma, not hating, after all he *is* a youtuber and he needs to act & do everything possible to get money, so im just stating my opinion, feel free to ignore me

I can extremely relate to how you were feeling with the make a wish child. I remember when I was about 13 or 14 years old, I was playing with one of my friends little brothers. He just wanted to toss a ball back and forth so I happily did. Two days later my mother told me he had past away in a horrible event and I was completely broken inside. To see such a happy face. Full of joy and never recognizing evil in the world, and then to know they were ripped out of the world in such a horrible manner. It crushes you. He was only 6 years old.

The irony in that story is that there ARE people who have "don't call an ambulance" bracelets because THEY CAN'T AFFORD AN AMBULANCE IN THE UNITED STATES! It's definitely great that he got help, and can afford to get healthcare. But yeah, that sort of thing is actually a serious issue.

Yeah, none of the other ones go anywhere near as deep. I think for Hollywood celebrities, they're very careful what they share with the public, trying to maintain privacy, whereas he's an open book. That willingness to be truly vulnerable with the world is very rare. His interview also has an extremely wide variety of topics covered. Maybe because he has a community, not just fans.

Fan of markiplier for a long time now and I'm glad seeing these kind of honest interviews where you see the person behind the RU-vid character. Of course the youtube persona is more dramatic then the real version , it's called entertainment so I get that and absolutely love the videos for it cause it does make it more fun. Just glad to see Mark is actually a great guy with interviews like these. Behind the youtuber is a loving caring person , and yes of course you don't keep track with so many fans , people that say they are and can are lying. Atleast your honest about it. That part about the make-wish-kids was really heartbreaking. Mark keep staying cool and post awesome content :)
