I prefer neutrals and separates so this haul was right up my street ! The first outfit and the cream jacket and crochet outfit were fab, the latter would be such an elegant summer wedding guest look.

Thanks Helen for your haul. I preferred you in the first outfit the marching skirt and blouse that looked like a dress it looked very classy. Also the silky bronze blouse looked lovely on you. I wish I had a dressing room as my wardrobe is already bursting but I keep seeing more things that I like🤪but don’t have the room or the occasions to wear them. Thanks for letting us know how Rob is doing let’s hope and pray all goes well so he can feel better again.xx

I do a capsule wardrobe, and you're right - it makes getting dressed so much easier, you can mix and match it all. I liked the first blouse, but not with the skirt, I like the idea of the crochet set, but really don't like when the lining doesn't come down full length (plus I think all of the skirts were too long for you - straighter looks better shorter). Love the silky blouse, and the Next jacket, and the skirt is much nicer than the straight ones - the movement is so much more flattering (and that skirt would go with all the other pieces so would be so handy).

The first outfit was stunning on you. Definitely looked like a keeper, as was the brown skirt. And all the shoes are fabulous. I bought a pair of Calla shoes on your recommendation. Really like the first outfit, especially the way the patterns are cut differently, it’s very flattering, be nice as a wedding guest outfit as you can dress it up. The crochet outfit is very smart again, a possible party outfit, a good holiday outfit that could be dressed down with a t shirt and posh trainers. All the outfits looked lovely, that colour way really suits you. Keep the first outfit defo.

The last outfit with the cream jacket is my favorite 😍

While there I also bought the trousers that match the skirt and top you modelled first in this video! You have a real talent for selecting colours, pattern & style Helen- these pieces look so elegant on you ! I particularly loved the first outfit , the patterned shirt and skirt. The shirt would look fabulous with your ecru jeans also. The white jacket over the crochet 2 piece made another stunning outfit, special enough for a wedding guest outfit I thought, especially with the elegant shoes. Some lovely elegant pieces Helen, thank you. My husband has recently had a cardiac procedure which we were told initially would be 6-8 weeks and actually took 18 weeks so that seems to be the norm, having said that all is well now so I’m sure your husband will be fine.

Well Helen, for me the first outfit with the brown skirt is much more preferable. The shoes are dainty and very smart. I have the last cardigan in a number of shades, so comfortable and will go with most things on trend on the moment. The jacket from next is just a treat and looks classy. Whatever you wear suits Helen so your choice but great choices. Thanks for sharing xx

Hi Helen - wow! I really do love that first co-ord set…really suits you and you’ve even chosen a matching hair claw! 👌🏼 I also love the cream co-ord set along with the wee navy jacket…very chic and classy looking colour combo. I adore the cream Next jacket too! We definitely have the same taste in clothes and I am regularly drawn to blues too. I am relieved to hear you now have a date for Rob’s procedure. I wish you both well for it. Some years ago, I had a condition which appeared from nowhere called “Supra ventricular tachycardia” - think it might be a similar thing to what Rob has? My worst “episode” was when my heart rate went up to 297 bpm!! (I was Depute Head in a secondary school back then and I remember my first episode coming on totally out of the blue as I was having a nice friendly chat with some pupils in the corridor - not a stressful situation by any means). That was a scary one! All fixed very quickly though and I didn’t have a long wait back then. There was only 2 surgeons in the U.K. able to carry out that procedure back then and luckily for me, one of them was in Aberdeen where I lived. He went in through my groin (ooo matron!) and “zapped” my heart’s “electricity entry points” so to speak with a laser (I had to be awake throughout as they were hoping my heart would go like the clappers so he could do a really accurate job). I’m almost 63 now and that was probably around 15 years ago now. I’m sure Rob will be just great further to his procedure but I know of course you and he are bound to be anxious. It’ll all be done and dusted in no time so try not to stress. As I say, not sure if Rob’s condition/procedure will be similar to mine or not but just want to sort of reassure you a bit. Totally different topic…I made apple crumble the other day and as I was rubbing in my butter I was trying to remember what you swear by in your crumble topping…did you say to put in some cream crackers or have I dreamt that?!!🤪 Anyhoo…Thanks again for doing what you do Helen.…. I vote for the first shirt. The matching skirt was great but maybe you could save the money by matching it to something you already have in your wardrobe. The toffee shirt was a winner as well. Such a nice colour on you.

Great haul as always, I’ve got my granddaughter’s christening at the end of June and on the lookout for a dressy outfit and that crochet top and skirt was gorgeous on as well as the shoes.
