Hi Helen, i have the same problem with my hubby. He drives me crazy. Has a great wardrobe of clothes and wears the same stuff. With regards to your M & S security tag we had a similar issue with hubby’s coat which had a large security tag and it was not until we got home did we notice it. We could not take it back for removal as we had lost the receipt and let me tell you it was not easy to remove with a screwdriver, pliers etc. Although from what you have said perhaps we should have!!!!!. The dresses are beautiful. The black dress I guess you could wear a blazer with it when its cooler. I am really liking the white top and a bargain. White goes with anything!!. 😂 Your description of Rob reminded me so much of my husband! (I've had mine for 45 years too!) I asked him "how old is that sweatshirt?" He thought for a minute and then said quite proudly that it must be over 35 years old! He looks like a hobo most of the time..... I've tried to throw the worst things away several times but they have mysteriously re-appeared! 😏🙄 Love your haul Helen, I wish my Marks and Sparks looked less like a jumble sale, I've often left the shop without buying anything, because I'm so overwhelmed by the mess!

Hi Helen, I just wanted to say that the dresses were lovely and the floral one in particular was really flattering! On the flip side, the skirts were both nice but the striped one was not a good look. Something about the pattern not lining up properly when you turned around. The ivory and black dots looked very nice on you. Both jumpers were great. I just wanted to say I enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

The black dress with the multiple bunched sleeves is a keeper! Its super classy and you look amazing in it. I really did not like the way the stripes arch up on that one skirt -I just didn’t think it flattered your beautiful shape! you can do so much better! Swimsuit, no! 😊 The black dress, definite YES (I bought a similar one from Nobody's Child this Summer and wore it to death! Very good for holidays as it doesn't stain and packs up small), I liked the black smock top too (if paired with straightlegged trousers). And the French tuck at the front really works well and is very flattering

Always love your videos, you make my day with your comments and diversions. The first dress was very flattering and looked so nice on you and I love polka dots so the skirt was a winner! Here in Arizona it is still around 100, so sweaters (jumpers) are hard to be excited about!

Oh dear! This was such a good haul. You really suit both those dresses. They are so flattering especially the black one, which I agree would look fab dressed up. The first pleated skirt was fine but I didn’t think the pattern was so flattering. But the second skirt looked great and would be a real asset on holiday. Tops all great except that shapeless black thing. Loved your model stance. It did make me laugh. Final comment,before you drift off,about husbands. Mine is also a nightmare. Never looks at what he is wearing. One thing I did,which has succeeded, is cutting off the inside label in all ‘work clothes’ and shoving in one drawer. He has now got into the habit of going to that drawer when he is going to be messy. Hey ho!

The swimsuit - Nips are not ‘a look’ as far as I know 😂😂 it would put me off for sure!! The black dress looked great and I liked the skirts too - you doing the model posing was hilarious 😆😂 Those bloomin’ cargo trousers are really badly sized - I ordered a pair in my normal M&S size and they were too small at the waist too 😖 exactly as you described. Urgh.

Hi Helen, first dress beautiful on, black dress amazing sleeves are fabulous. Pleated skirt no for me the top bargain. Sleeveless crochet top gorgeous . Skirt was lovely I personally couldn’t be bothered with 5he faffing about the washing of it lol, loved the top you wore with the white skirt. Hope you decide to keep both the dresses, you looked great in them. I personally didn't like the stripey pleated skirt or the polka dot one but then I am not a skirt wearer. The white/cream knitwear was lovely on you. Great reductions from M & S. Thanks Helen. x

Really liked both skirts, I’ve found a way of buying M&S on line in Canada but it’s so expensive when converted to Canadian $ 😡, and then shipping on top of that - it’s almost cheaper to fly there, buy and fly home 🤪 crazy !! I love the first dress! I vote for keeping! I like the black dress, too. I actually like the petite length on you better. I like the pleated skirt, but not the beige on it. Nice jumper, but not with the skirt. It's a definite keeper. I love the polka dot skirt! The short-sleeved jumper is really nice. Tons of amazing bargains today, Helen!

Hi Helen I love your channel, especially the haul because you chat away and it’s like having a good natter. I love it when you do an an M and S haul the most. I always see something I like that I might not have noticed if I went in the store. I like the spotty skirt that you nearly disregarded. Hearing your moans about Rob wearing nice clothes to do mucky jobs was especially amusing as that’s what my husband used to do. He died just over a year ago, I watched your channel a lot back then, as a sort of distraction. Love M & S knit's and the all suited you, and the last skirt was really good. But honestly Helen you could make a bin bag look gorgeous. I have a husband (40years) who is the same with his clothes and shoes. He is minister of our church and come Sunday, I have caught him in a suit and tie checking the oil under the hood😂 I’m a fairly new subscriber and proud to be a Hells belles, I was wondering what it meant. Helen my husband is exactly the same, wears good clothes to garden in etc!! I gave up years ago! 😂 He loves shopping and clothes I have to say. I love your dresses today. I have narrow shoulders and I love square neck dresses. I think its difficult to find square neck dresses where I live. 😊

Lovely video again Helen thank you. A personal whinge about the striped skirt, which I didn't like. Why cant manufacturers line up patterns at the seams? Mismatching detracts from the overall effect and looks cheap in my opinion. Whinge over, thanks for the freedom to comment.

I think M&S Clothing has gone down in quality.. Next is no different, quality is just not there anylonger. Design of the blouses are always too short .. sent some things back this week..

You can get nipple covers , they are sticky and just cover them like a bandaid so they aren’t as noticeable. I liked the polka dot skirt but didn’t care for the stripy one, it just looked a little off with the way the stripes were on it. 🙋🏼‍♀️

Hi Helen! I really liked the flower dress, black dress, the white sweater, the sleeveless sweater top, and the polka dot skirt. I’m sorry to say, the striped skirt wasn’t very flattering. I don’t think it would look good on many. The black top was too wide and you looked pregnant. 😂 The little v-neck top looks very good and would be useful. Super enjoy your videos!! ❤🤗

The flowered dress and the cream top looked the best. Not keen on either of the skirts and the other dress, and the black top looks like maternity wear. I popped into my local M&S and there was very little in my size 8-10 but there was loads in larger sizes, I find this is always the way it is, so I very rarely find a bargain.

I loved the first dress. It really suited you, as did the black one. The first one is off the website unfortunately as I was hoping to get it. I didn’t like the swimsuit because of the nips issue. Perhaps it’s okay for the younger girls, although with them also I’m not impressed. I always envy you when you try on dresses as you have a waist and that makes them sit nice. I am more straight up and down with bulgy bits where my waist should be and therefore dresses don’t suit me as well as they do you.☹️. However, just passed our 49th anniversary and my husband still tells me he loves me so, the wee bulges don’t seem to concern him. I enjoy your channel to see your buys and listen to your chat.x

😂😂 Helen I'm laughing myself silly. My husband does the same thing your husband does. He puts clean cloths on then desides to do some " little job " and I say get changed, he says " it's ok I won't make a mess " 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Next thing is I'm trying to wash creosote out of a new pair of Jean or jumper !!!I My friend bought cloths from M&S, when she arrived home to unpack she discovered security tags still on the garments. But the alarms did not go off as She left the store. She phoned the store and explained and asked them to remove the tags as they would damage the cloths if she tried to remove them herself. The store said yes, just being the cloths back along with the receipts and they would remove the tags. When she returned to the store the alarm went off and the security guard arrested her !!! It was sorted out eventually but very embarrassing for my friend.

You look really good in everything, Helen! I understand your dilemma about what to keep when they all look good. The cream striped skirt, however, is not worth keeping as the curved horizontal lines near the top are poor design and I can't imagine being flattering for anyone. x

Second dress, the black cotton is just fabulous on you. It's exactly something I'd wear every day.

I do mucky jobs in whatever I am wearing at the time. My husband religiously changes into ‘work clothes’ for his jobs. So we are often at loggerheads. He moans at me. Floral dress is so pretty, with a little jacket over the top, and jewellery, nice for a meal out. Black dress nice too, suits your bust.

Hi Helen. I wouldn’t keep the swimsuit with no interior. Probably ok for very young ones. The floral dress is lovely on you. If it was me I would shorten it a bit to get the narrower part of the leg below the knee, but that’s just me.

Hi Helen, regarding the swimsuit, you can get nipple covers. I’ve got some for T shirts because I’ve got big boobs and don’t want to wear those preformed bras as they make me look huge. I like the blue flowery dress, but I think that the ditsy flower look is on the way out so might be totally out by next summer. The black dress looks nice , that could be really useful. I prefer the blue top with the skirt but the cream jumper is nice. I like the spot skirt a lot.

Blimey you hit the jackpot with this haul. Everything looked really nice on you (not so keen on the blousy top tbh). I was in M&S today but there wasn't any sale stuff about. Did buy a lovely pair of jeans though and a nice necklace 😁.

Hi Helen, I love love the first two dresses and the last jumper. I would go for the first on myself.

The pattern on the striped pleated skirt is all wrong for any shaped lady because the lines of the pattern curve up in the middle of the front and back it draws your eye to the area, creates an illusion of the fabric being pulled up (as it would over a pregnancy bump for example) and therefore accentuating both a tummy and a bottom on any lady even if they don’t have one. Not very flattering for most women. Definitely a NO.
