Smoove Diggity nope. Wildside was based on real life events including Charles and Carol Stuart story that Mark mentioned. in 1989, Stuart falsely alleged that his wife and unborn child were shot and killed in Boston by an African-American assailant. Stuart's brother confessed to police that Stuart himself killed them to collect life insurance, and Stuart subsequently committed suicide.

I feel we should have an IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: There is absolutely nothing funny about the Stewart case. Nothing. But dammit I absolutely lost it at 3:12 - “Waddaya know? Sure as a sea gull’s got webbed toes.”

Also The big hit & The corruptor were two fun late 90s action flicks with Whalberg.

ALL the stories in related here were real. It was this song that was the last straw for me. I lived 2 miles a mile from where Tiff was killed, and my daughter was 3. A few months later the dealers blew a house off it's slab all that was left was the slab (Thank god they were not home). But between that and Tiff getting killed in the middle of the day, and i lived in a middle class neighborhood, with "Hood" less the 2 miles away. Although I was born and raised there, I was done!!! My baby was not going to be a victim of death and/or drugs. I raised her on a small island/town in east coast Fl. I thank God everyday I made that choice!!! Thats Mark, for helping me make that choice.

I cried for Tiffany. I was young when this came out, I liked the sound...the dotodotodo and the sax. I didn't catch the rest of the lyrics until now, going back and seeing with older eyes.

Back then, Good Vibrations was the only song from Mr. Wahlberg I had heard, or at least the only one I remember. I looked up his side-career to see if his song was a one-hit wonder. Saw there was also this song. So I look it up on RU-vid just now, and already I wish I had heard of this song sooner.

Love the storytelling in this song. These tragic bite-sized tales always creeped me out when I was younger. The last two verses are actually true crimes that happened in Mark's hometown of Boston. He even uses the real names of all the individuals involved.
