I love those round flat nose bullets in both 357 and in 44. I run the Lee 358158rf over 14 gr of 2400 out of my Taurus 6” and after hitting gallon jugs of water with it, I can only imagine the impact on a whitetail deer out of a 16-20” rifle. Almost makes ya feel sorry for the deer 😁
@@coatsbrothersfirearms8406 spent lots of time around pine creek (workin) .my friends dad actually did all the surveying for all of lake county. Use to be a hunter have some big antlers to show from that area. My friend actually has a motorcycle museum across fandango pass (pine creek) in ft bidwell ca.
Tim. It really has nothing to do with the rifling. It's just like fitting revolver bullets to fit the cylinder. I'm trying to fit these bullets to the rifles throat. This will allow the rifle to shoot to its potential. Thanks for watching Tim!!!
Wow number one that is one nice looking rifle . And it’s funny how that rifle shoot better with that large of a bullet . Is the barrel shoot out on that rifle could that be the reason it’s shooting better with that large of a bullet ? I hope you can understand my writing . Keep the videos coming
Willie. The rifle has been shot very little. Marlins are know to have pretty large throats. They tend to shoot better with fatter bullets. Next time out I'm gonna try .361" bullets. Thanks for checking it out! I hope you are on the road to recovery brother....God Bless
