God bless you, father Mike I pray for you every day thank you for all the teaching you and everybody ascensions. God bless you God bless peace be with you.
I was married to my husband for 62 yrs then he passed on Nov 10 ,2 yrs this Nov10, I miss him so very much. We had yrs off good life, and we had our differences, but we never vered from our married vows. It was a promise regardless of the certificates that society says we must have. But with Gods help we made it.
@@vstu7643You marriage never was cut short! It never ends when there's true love! May God Heve Mercy on his soul and give you peace and understanding!
The Beautiful Truth of our Faith and Meaning of Life and Marriage - explained with such empathy, passion, and simplicity. Thank you Fr Mike for your calling to be a spiritual father! God Bless you Fr Mike ❤😊🕊️!
Essence: For a married person, be a saint through marriage. “Love the person you already love the most in the world, but love them the way I love them.” So well said. Great job as ever, thanks Father Mike❤
Thank you Fr Mike every thing is so simple to understand with you . I was crying like a madeleine over that Sunday mass scripture. I didn’t believe that my heart was still in pain even if I knew that was God ‘s will for me . After more that 20 yrs of rejection over a divorce. It’s God himself that I thought I offended. I didn’t get the privilege to make it a convenant with vows but wanted God’s blessing so much . Your talk has make me understand that God’s way to bring us closer to him will never be easy to understand but knowing that all through our life he is with us is so reassuring, comforting and worthy to take any rejection. Stay bless Fr and all of you . I have reached Day 113 for the bible in a year and still enjoying the words of God . Blessings from Australia 🙏💐
I really love 💗 how you explain everything! It's beautiful! I love 💓 it! Thank you Father Mike! I really enjoy watching your videos! May God always bless you and your family 🙏. You and all priests are always in my thoughts and prayers
Wow! Father Mike you leave me speechless. I listen to your homilies and I'm saying wow the whole time. Your choice of words, your emotion, your knowledge are beyond anything or anyone I've ever heard. I thank God I found you because you light up my life. Thank you!
Thank you very much to those who provided their input. I am going to bring this question to my Priest as I have been a Catholic for 46 years... When I hear something during mass I cannot correlate in the Bible, I have to question its validity, for that is the first and foremost word I follow, God's word... Be blessed everyone.
Wow! Thank you Father for the extremely profound homilies today. Explaining the difference between contract and covenant was heartfelt. Next, your points about how the world views of marriage is not the same way God views marriage. In addition, encouraging us to read Matthew 7. Yes! I will be examing my heart and inviting God the Father and Jesus into it.😊
Thank You, Holy Spirit for guiding Father Mike to this Homily on walking with Jesus in marriage. It helped me a lot. Praying for our marriage. 🫂 Blessed day.
That ending about loving Jesus and giving him more attention as I’m a 49 year old woman whose marriage was annulled about 5 years ago and met frogs after the annulment. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
There’s a HUGE Annulment abuse crisis in North America. Few if any speak out about. Research Leila Miller, Mary’s Advocates and BETRAYED WITHOUT A KISS.
So like one of my acquaintance feels lonely and wants to get married. She was seeking my advice. I was surprised..man. I told her, put God between you and him.Give each other space.I mean sometimes when I am in the middle of the spiritual battle it's really me fighting alongside God. I get really down, no one understands that. I just need to be alone during that phase. Build up my inner fire and fight and then when it's all over. I am grounded in yeshua again. But really I don't feel lonely. Thank Jesus, my Nazarene. It's all energy. Spiritual marriages I think. Put God first. Put Jesus first.❤ I really want to get baptised I don't want to die, without being saved. I want to be a catholic. Pray for me padre, because I fear tough times are ahead and I don't want to die without having the bread and blood of my lord. Pray for me please 🥺
I never doubted that we would struggle, but the part I struggle with is even feeling He is with me and my family with the suffering we've experienced in the past year and a half. I suppose you Father Mike would say I still have hope since I'm still trying, but I constantly feel this struggle everyday. As an aside, I would say that my extended family is going through the start of a divorce process as of this past week. So I would ask others for prayers for the couple please.
Thank you father Mike. I heard the divorce lawyer discussion and it really boils down to being a giver. You want granola to be stocked up, you better give it up.
I really struggle with the idea of loving a person. I have severe trust issues in people and I have stopped dating. I honestly thing God wants me to be single.
@@darth-gerry6659 Consecrated Singleness is also a vocation though unsure why that is not mentioned. Singleness is very difficult. For most, we thrive in community and companionship. Thats even true for religious. Religious, priests and nuns are not in isolation. Hermits are though that is not a good life for most. ❤️🩹🙏❤️
The church needs to change the annulment process. They should be able to grant an annulment without having to speak to or even an inform an abusive ex spouse. The church prevents people from remarrying because they were abused .
Could you please talk about parenting or recommend a resource? Marriage is a great foundation but bringing up Catholic children in a secular environment is difficult. I did not receive traIning and I lack the skill. If the children go to church in their later years it will be by God's grace!
I was actually reading Mathew today and being thinking about it. I am divorced, suffered abused and violence for 4 years . Being single ever since. I would love some clarification I am just confused.
@@mariaquevedo1226 God does not condone abuse. Look up “Known” - its a 12 week Catholic healing program. It will help you greatly be healed and cone to know the Fathers Love.
Fr. Mike. My husband had been having an affair from 3 years before we got married, it started in 1990. We got married in 1993 and he left me for this same woman in 1996. I have been alone since then right up to this present day, 6 October 2024. One thing i am very bitter about is the fact that if i meet someone and get married, I'll be deemed an adulteress. Why, when i was the victim not the perpetrator. He married me under false presence. She was a married woman who did the same thing to her husband, married him in 1992. I am very staunch Roman Catholic, but like i said, this is one thing that makes me bitter about the Church because it seems other christian denominations are permitted to get married after a divorce.
If you are married under false pretenses, that is not considered an actual, valid marriage in the Catholic Church. You can pursue an annulment. If granted, it means that there was never a valid marriage in the first place. That would mean you are free to marry in the Church.
I really try with the Catholic Church but as a single unmarried childless woman in her 50s 13:14 the message is we are not included and not ascribed with whereas I feel the opposite about my life I contribute in so many ways. Also the message dos not elevate aunts and uncles and all the folks who pick up the parents slack
Good point...I was single (again) for 15 years, and found that involving myself in the Church with the music ministry, Ladies Guild, decorating the church for the seasons, and anything else the pastor asked, my life became more centered on others than myself... and I was really happy... it's all good! PS... now married again for 16 years, and still happy and serving others...
I am an unmarried childless woman as well but I did not get that message from this video. The video is on marriage and speaks a little about divorce. While marriage and religious vocations were the only two mentioned in this video, you can have a vocation to be single and celibate. This goes for both man and woman. The Catholic Church does not look down or dismiss those that are single and celibate. I don’t know what vocation God has for you but I will pray for you that you find your calling. God bless you!
You are loved and valued by the church and especially by God. I'm a divorced single mother and I know this message is not specifically for me, but God is for me and you! Please don't be offended by the message. Remember we all have a vocation in life and Jesus is with you no matter if you are married, divorced or single. Whatever your "status" God is with you! You can use the message for guidance in other relationships in life. God bless❤🙏🏾

So with this being said, those baptisms being done of people by other people (doesn’t seem like they are priests or pastors) in a lake….are those valid?
If the formula, "I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" is used, and the minister intends to do what the Church does (which is a pretty broad condition) then it's valid. Many protestant baptisms are valid, and therefore in fact Catholic. A newly baptized protestant baby (among those Protestants who do that) is technically Catholic.
Fadder mike, oh how i love u oh how i love you and others would say look at U, U is well rounded at the bottom, and mike says stop looking at my bottom, wasnt looking at mikes bottom was looking at U
My ex when going with him complained that his ex came home with her jeans all stained around her backside, a was thinking grassy ass, thanks but a didn't need to know that
If yar reading dese comments fr mike, let me know, okay, a Chinese guy brought a man's dinner to him in a Chinese restaurant, he sets the plate down and says chicken rice and peas be with you, the guy was talking about needing to go to mass that Sunday cause he hadn't been in a while, he never heard chicken, the man puts out his hand forgetting himself wanting a handshake
@@monmca9371 There are religious brothers- monks. Look up St. Procopius in Lisle, IL- its Benedictine. i never knew so many religious were around probably why the communities havent grown as most of us were never taught and never knew they existed. So we traveled life unknowing so much. God has a purpose in all things.
Glory be to God!!! After so much struggles I now own a new house with an influx of $97,000.00 every month God has kept to his words, my family is happy again everything is finally falling into place. God bless Kinross Oil
It is the digital investment company. That's been the secret to this wealth transfer. A lot of folks in the US amd abroad are getting so much from it, God has been good to my household Thank you Jesus
