DIALECTIC SPIRITUALISM A VEDIC VIEW OF WESTERN PHILOSOPHY By His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada John Duns scotus (1265?-1308) Śrīla Prabhupāda: Yes, they condemned the Catholic Church because its paramparā was broken, but they concluded, "Let us also break." Those who first broke away from the message as it is and those who followed them by breaking away themselves are both to blame. Since the original solidarity of the Christian religion is broken, the Christian reli-gion is dwindling and losing its importance.
Khalil Gibran, in his book The Prophet, said:. "Between what is said and not meant, and what is meant and not said, most of love is lost!" Being authentic and emphatic is not simple to do, but it needs to find expression in relationships otherwise??
So what happens next at your earthly meeting, That your priority is ruli g planets, From somewhere low down I to the gutter, Send then who invited them I to gods love...?
We just love how Bob stares I to the camera and who invited them into god's love, and what was going to happen to them next, Sure your from heaven sure your welcome to everything,...right...?
I currently am not allowed to take the Holy Eucharist and it breaks my heart. I feel that the Catholic Church sometimes puts on too many rules and exceptions to be able to receive Christ. Jesus didn't discriminate and judge, he wants everyone to receive him. I'm a Catholic and have been all my life, have gotten my sacraments. I married a non-catholic at another church and because he wasn't annulled from his previous marriage, I'm not allowed to receive communion. This is a punishment for me not my hisband. My heart breaks. I have been waiting over a year to hear from the archdiocese to hear if the annulment has been approved. ...if it isn't? Where does that leave me? "Divorce"? So I can receive communion again and not be living in "sin". I love the Lord with all my heart, mind and soul and he knows what's in my heart.
Protestant response. Respectfully submitted. This was a bit misleading. Historic Protestantism has never taught the Eucharist was a bare symbol. It has always subscribed to the real presence. The difference with Rome was not over the real presence. It was over how is Christ present. Transubstantiation is not real presence, it is one of several ways throughout history that Christians have explained how the real presence happens. Transubstantiation as an option for explaining the real presence first appeared in the 10th century and wasn’t declared dogma until the 16th century Council of Trent. Please read these statements from Protestant Reformers: “it is contrary neither to Scripture nor to the articles of faith for Christ’s body to be at the same time in heaven and in the Supper. […] the words, “This is my body,” should be allowed to stand and remain just as they read. That I should show visibly with eyes and finger that Christ’s body is at the same time in heaven and at table, as the fanatics ask of us, of course I cannot do. He who is unwilling to believe the words of God need not demand anything further from me. So I do enough if I prove that it is not contrary to God’s Word, but consistent with Scripture”. [Luther’s Works vol. 37, 55] - Martin Luther: “The Holy Spirit is the bond of the believer’s union with Christ. Therefore that which the minister does on the earthly plane, the Holy Spirit accomplishes on the spiritual plane. In other words, those who partake of the bread and wine in faith are also, by the power of the Holy Spirit, being nourished by the body and blood of Christ.” - John Calvin (Reformed). Calvin believed Christ was objectively presented in the Eucharist. ; “that the eating and drinking of this sacramental bread and wine is, as it were, a showing of Christ before our eyes, a smelling of him with our noses, a feeling and groping of him with our hands, and an eating, chewing, digesting, and feeding upon him to our spiritual strength and perfection”. - Thomas Cranmer (Anglican). There was not unanimous agreement among the early church fathers on how Christ was present in the Eucharist. There was unanimity on the fact that Christ is present in the Eucharist.
So, the sin I'm doing, Is worse than you not looking when your rejoicing something you didn't see, But stand up there make your point that what I'm doing is wrong, But could it be fatal that you didn't see what your doing either, Your vision is only looking one way.
Me too , I was just like you until I had an amazing religion teacher in 6th grade . Ms Kenna turned my life around ❤the ppl around me never went to mass and lived better lives better families a lot better financially. It was backward thinking
Hi dear Father Mike, I’m a Christian from Nazareth, the Christians of the Holy Land are all Arab, Allah in the Christian bible literally means God, so inNazareth، Jerusalem, Beit lahem… we have the Holy mass in Arabic and we use the word for God Allah Which comes from the word ilah (like elohim in Hebrew) Abba in Hebrew like the Arabic word (Aab) Lord in Arabic means Rab (like rabbi in Hebrew) In arabic the casual dad means Baba… They are Similar languages But because in islam they also say allah meaning God, foreigners think its a Name.. but its in all the churches 😅 My friends and I watch your videos and listen to the bible in a year I would love to meet you and connect you with the local Christians, the born and raised here from generations and generations, since the time of Jesus, and recommend the best places to visit, if you ever visit my Hometown again
I am holding onto your church I am praying for that little girl I just can’t believe they I am praying for your our parish I think we are all grateful for you holding on to all of us May god keep you in his palm I will pray for you now too My best thoughts for you this not alone night
Hi father Mike and everyone who's watching this video. I'm just a newly converted ex-protestant into the Catholic Church, and I have a question about the eucharist, I've noticed that in the Holy Mass it's only served the body, but not the blood as well to the people, what's the reason for that? Thank you in advance, I just love listening to you, I've learned a great deal already from you, you're truly blessed by God, and I pray that your love for God grows stronger and stronger and that God keeps blessing you 🙏🏻
The Spiritual body and blood of Christ are His followers in unison with holiness. The Word made flesh is Jesus Himself and words of the scripture! Jesus was conceived by God with the Word made flesh! Sadly, sometimes the Eucharist or the unblessed hosts are adulteratedwith something worldly harmful, like many foods are too, I suspect.
I have two dislocated knees andcan not get to church by walking, but i am going to try again, for i am not wholely holy, getting upset with my situation and other trends. Iwould love to receive the sacraments again with the presence pf the Holy Spirit to touch my anxieties and make them go away. The Holy Trinity, each unique being of Gods will, is pure and never was adulterated, like the human condition since Adam and Eve and Original sin. God does so much for us!
Yes Fr. Mike, you are 100% correct. How much more information do we need. The truth is the truth! Jesus is God Jesus is truth Jesus is real and I cannot live without Him. Hod bless you. ❤️🔥🙏🏼😇❤️🔥
Hi Fr. I really want to know that buying a lottery and winning it and living from that money is a sin? Please help me... my husband tells not to buy lotteries... I'm just checking my luck. I don't waste money or addicted to it. So is it a sin? Please please help me...
Amen✝️thank you Father Mike 🩸💦✝️ I saw my father transform before my eyes when I started administering the Holy Eucharist. He was given the death he wanted and deserved.
Wonderful homily, thank you Fr Mike and the Pew Crew. Thank you for your faithful teaching of the holy Eucharist- holy body and blood of Christ. Please forgive me for my indifference, I love you God. We need more caring and love. God bless you and all the parishioners, and prayers for our world. Please also pray for my headaches, and for my family. Thank you Fr Mike for sharing your story too. ☀️🕊️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Fr. Mike I love your videos and thank you for what you do, but how does that work when your husband cheated and you forgive them how do i have trust again? What do we have to do? 😔
No to offend anyone, but some of you keep a fairly tip top amazingly good looking image of what a priest is, but some of ya'll are not very smart. At least orally, sounds like. Again, not to offend.
