Marriage, Divorce, and Remarriage: Applying the Text to Our Situation (Matthew 19:1-12) 

As we turn our attention to the task of applying Jesus' teaching to our situation, we learn that some conduct is incompatible with life, so to speak. In other words, certain behaviors are fatal to marriage. But we also learned that many hardships can and should be overcome, and we learned that preventing divorce is about building healthier marriages.
