Update: After he asked me, we talked later in the night, all night, he actually told me the things he felt insecure about and also asked me if I was sure about my parents accepting us together, after a long talk and constantly reassuring him, he finally felt better and we’ve tentatively decided to get married within a year’s time ♥️ and move to a new country, a new city, and start our life together. I saw him today and he made so many references to engagement, marriage, promise rings, commitment ETC. I WAS HONESTLY FREAKING OUT INSIDE. Hi!
