Amazing advice. Even though I'm not married, I learned a lot. Self development is so important, to always better yourself and to work on your flaws. We women tend to lose who we are when we get married and stick to being only the wife and mother. But we should always make sure that we are constantly working on ourselves mentally, psychically and emotionally.

i believe men only complain that their wives cry too much, or complain about everything is because the husband doesnt not truly understand how much pressure and stress ever single day she has a female . always trying to be the perfect daughter, chef, maid ,housewife. women, mother, sister, daughter-in-law, income provider, teacher to the kids, muslima. if a husband/male really understood the amount of pressure a women/wife has to deal with on a daily bases he would help her rather than fight with her.

good advice sister,mashalla. one thing to clealy state is violence / abuse is not allowed. also the wife and husband need to meet in the middle. so the Dr advancing in his career that you talk about, needs to absolutely appreciate his wifes work in the home, and needs to take the time to also be on the same level as her. i think that can only be done by spending quality time with his family/ wife. her job at home is just as important as his, if not more. she is raising the next generation. time spent as a family is the key. marriage and having kids is hard work, but with communication and respect/love, it can go far.

YES!!! MashaAllah!!! You are an amazing woman. THANK YOU for all of this advice!! It's Sooooo NEEDED in the Muslim community for people to understand the psycological aspects of relationships. There's a big issue with many Sheikh's just saying "have more faith in Allah", when it comes to advice, and although this is true it is also very general and doesn't address the very real issues people face. You brought tears to my eyes because we NEED more women speaking out and being represented who are intelligent and have so much to give to the universal community.

this was so awesome, thank u so much. just one thing that I have to say though. u said that woman after marriage should continue to stay mentally stimulated. however in many cases that's impossible. the man wants food warm and the way he likes it when he's home, kids taken care of and looked after, the home cleaned and looked after, in some cases the in laws looked after, and oh yeah, she should also look all glam and pretty and be totally happy when he's home, and the list goes on .... she doesn't have time for her self. shes up all night with babies and she's busy all day with looking after everything. She doesn't have even a day to relax let alone a day to stimulate her brain. there are some dudes who want their wives not to work at all, and practically be house maids, but then there are others who expect their wives to have a job and do all the house work and look after kids as well. and sometimes men will say that she can have a job if she wants but has to still look after " her responsibility. perhaps another issue that should be mentioned about men is that they don't see marriage as a dual responsibility. Godforbid that the head of the house hold ever cooks something, cleans, changes diapers and stays up with his own babies. nah that's the woman's job. man's job is just make sure he has a job to supply money. that's impossible and unfair. Did the prophet saw not help his wives? and also, men have such a possessive problem sometimes. they have to control their wives and tell them how to live, what to do, what not to do, where to go and when. it sucks, especially because the girl once lived a free women when she grew up with her parents, and now she's bound to the "will" of her lover. that's rough. idk if ppl understand. but again, I don't mean that this is every man in the world.thank Allah for that😊

Salam sister. Alot of what you have said is true. Women do sacrifice alot for the family. My experience is this the problem is she is not appreciated for all the hard work. True appreciation especially from the husband can really help her mentally and emotionally and renew her

Assalamu alaikum jazakallah Quran weekly for this- very helpful especially about continuing to grow intellectually. Cultural and societal (not Islamic!) expectations often dampen this for women. I hope I don't sound patronising but thank you also for putting a sister on here and not being worried that people will make daft comments about women being visible. May Allah bless this sister.

Great lessons for all! But useless if not applied. InshaAllah we can all work towards making our selves better people in humanity for the sake of Allah swt! That I think is the easiest way to change, when we put set our mind on doing the things that will please Allah!

I'm sure if we know of the challenges of marriage prior to marriage, we will be better equipped in dealing with them. Alhamdulillah, that the sister's advice was very concise: self-control, be expressive, and be appealing (honestly, praying to be like Prophet Yusuf:))

Okay- how do you properly control and being secure when your husband continues to look at filthy naked women? Then trying to compare me to these “unrealistic women” please help me overcome this mindset- because it makes me very insecure.. and he is on his phone , so much- I wish I was his phone- just so I can get some attention from him 😭

I am not sure if its me or my husband. He is always on laptop watching movies and reading stuff. I slog myself . I have to work at office, cook and clean and its like he just enjoys after work. I know he pays for everything but does it mean i have to be the maid . At the end of the day he even asks me to share expenses . Ours was love marriage as in we liked each other before marriage but i guess it was my biggest mistake now. I feel i dont love him nor he does. He has never expressed after marriage except for the frst year that my prescence in his life mattered except for cooking and cleaning. Is a women so cheap ? My parens ask me to adjust and its been 8 years i have no kids and m adjusting. I dont understand the meaning of marriage. I would say i would prefer death once than dying everyday for no love but just compromise. I have already lost 8 years of my life.

A man who slaps his wife is not a true man. No matter what provokes it, it is not due to any other factor apart from their lack of respect and goodness.
@MacMac1313
@MacMac1313 4 года назад
A man remains a man just like a woman remains a woman, regardless ! Women with their shaming language have no end. And then you wonder why some Men lose their mind. With comments like yours where you think a Man stops being a Man simply because he slapped his woman who is disrespecting him to no end after warning her multiple times just lets me know the female nature and feminist mentality you all have.
