You are right, unless one abuses the other spouse till death do them apart. Will you continue to marry someone who constantly physically abuses you and your children and deem that marriage? Or someone who has vowed to make sure you will not prosper in life and do God’s will, will u still call that marriage? I understand divorce should not be promoted and it’s not being promoted. But every Marriage has to be the way God created it to be in the first place. In the eyes of God it should be His kind of ordained marriage and not room mate or an abuser. And both spouses must decide to marry Gods way. When that happens Divorce is never thought off. For those who have been abused got out and literally saved their lives.
