As a single woman with only a dog. I am now thinking I should have a WILL or TRUST. This is something we definitely aren’t taught. God willing in the future. I’ll have things to add to it and revise it. A husband a child or a business. Thanks for sharing!

It’s frustrating to hear her keep saying to talk to a professional. The reason is sometimes you go see someone (I did) and ask about these two “products “ using insurance as family bank and the other products where you pay for so long and never pay into after some time. I was told it wasn’t for me. But can I still know about it for the future?? A lot of these vehicles are for the rich! 😞😩. Who is an expert to help the middle class because the wealthy?

My question is, is she saying when you create a will, register it in the courts? Wouldn't that make it public information.

A lot of light skinned people don't have one either. I lost my husband when he was 49. We had to plan while he was sick. Do it while you are healthy. And as life changes, make changes as needed.

There is NO TAXES assessed on the Death Benefit of Life Insurance. If the Death Benefit has not been paid out to The Beneficiaries and earns interest until the Beneficiaries file their claim.... only the interest earned is Taxed.

This was really good but only thing I will say is the person who’s living rent to rent isn’t going to have the money to do these things and most likely they’re not taking vacations. I say that to say my family grew up as that family. My folks took us to the free parks but we never ever been on a vacation until we the kids got grown.

True - and, our parents (at least mine) did not have the knowledge nor understood the concept on things like growing & multiplying finances. The primary focus was surviving; putting food on the table. But today, after tuning in to this program, it is vital to search this out and aim to make it happen, one step forward daily seeking, educating, and searching out ways to make it happen. Where there’s a Will there is a way. We can do this!

Thank you once again Egypt and Mike. This has been one of the best ‘Word’ I’ve heard this year so far. I am enthused about learning more to make this happen for me. God Bless you and your family! And the Attorney, Anitra Walker.

This is a great segment! I hope my question can be answered... How can I become a power of attorney for my grandmother, who has dementia?
@walkerlawllc
@walkerlawllc Год назад
Ideally, the power of attorney should be named prior to any medical crisis, including dementia. A person can sign a power of attorney if they have the capacity to understand the document and what they are approving. However, it is best for you to contact an estate planning or elder law attorney in your area for a consultation to determine whether a power of attorney is the best option.
@deephelps7018

Thanks for responding. I've tried to call several elder attorneys but they never returned my calls. Estate planners is a good idea. Thanks again.
