Marriage is definitely from God, Jesus Christ is Lord over us. The Hebrew word for marriage directly translates to sanctification, so it's very important to do marriage with Him at the centre, because marriage exposes our ugliness and then shapes us to be better, not stagnant or selfish. It's not religion, it's relationship. Don't be discouraged by the christian marriages that failed. Those relationship did not start right in the first place. Things that may annoy you about your spouse, God can convict him/her and he/she will repent and do better. Also I also expect a Christian marriage to not nag each other over the same issues for years upon years, months upon months, neither should there be fights every day. There should be peace and growth. We are not children. Of course arguments will arise but the point of marriage is to limit these kind of things as much as possible, tolerating each other in love. When I listen to Christian marriages, I always hear their testimonies of growth and how God changed both of them to serve each other better. Marriage is not supposed to be miserable. Yes understanding is important and even unbelievers have understanding and that's why their marriages last but it means nothing if it doesn't glorify God. So in all our ways let us glorify God, and do marriage how HE designed it. I appreciate the genuineness in this video. ❤️
