Were you still able to go with the hurricane Ian having hit the area? We are trying to book this hotel for end of April and first wk of May. However, their phones aren’t working and concerned about booking online due to not knowing if the island is fully open and running.
@@stefaniecurry5804 We were there about 2 weeks before Ian hit. According to the local news, the island has re-opened. But, there's a curfew. No idea whether, or not the restaurants are open. But, SHR is. (From what I've heard.) 😞
@@Sahbomnim My god you were lucky....hope you got to do and see everything you wanted. Mucky Duck was indeed a special place. Also enjoyed the tennis courts here at the Sanibel Harbour. Tennis fans may remember this place at the site of a Davis Cup Match around 1989 or so...the Center Court is long gone now..

@@JuliaLives1111 thank you the quick reply and for letting me know! I found some videos from 2 months ago but I probably just need to look more into it. I’m wondering if the outlet mall is reopened and restaurants around the island or if it’s anticipated that there will be more open within a few months. It looks promising and will be so good for everyone there to be back up and running. ❤️
