Any possibility you could re upload without the sinister music? The video is exactly what I needed but I can't watch it all the way through with that grating backing track.
I was anxious about eventually having to change my FEP film. Now I feel more confident but also very anxious purely because of the choice of music. Why the psychological horror music??
Good video. Love the Exorcist background track. About to do my first FEP switch tonight on my Mars 2P. Starting to get fails and FEP is getting sticky. Hadn't thought of a silicone spatula before. think I'll pop over to the Dollar Store and get one. Thanks!
Given that paper towel scratches fep, I wouldn't advise using that type of abrasive kitchen sponge. Playing cards, printer packing foam, polystyrene are better . 8 to 10mm high should work (10mm x 90mm x 90mm workerd perfectly for my slightly larger Mars 3).
You could always push a thumbtack through the hole to start. Kind of like predeilling a hole when you use screws in wood. I’ve always been able to just get a corner in opposite ends and slowly make my way around. Make sure you have the right hex key to get good pressure and leverage as you’re tightening it in place.
@@7thCircleHobbies I realized I was trying to put the small screws in the bigger holes in a few cases...all ended well, thanks for the helpful video dude!
Hi, Ty for this video, it is really clear and helpful for a new resin printer user like me. Since I`m not from US, could you please provide that kitchen sponge dimensions? I will use it to design and print a similar replacement on my FDM printer.
You could use something about the size of a deck of cards but not as thick. I’ll post an exact measurement for you but it doesn’t need to be very tall. You just want to give yourself a little flexibility before you tighten it back down to the main frame of the resin vat.
