Parabéns pelo vídeo! Comprei esse head há pouco tempo e estou com dúvida sobre a ligação de falantes. Uso uma caixa 1x12 16ohms. Mas queria saber como funciona essa questão da resistência, se poderia ligar esse head em uma caixa 2x12 8ohms em série, totalizando 16 ohms. Ou se posso ligar um falante de 8ohms? Agradeço!
@@ocanaldodani , eu tenho uma jvm e uso nesse cab. Mas em apartamento é difícil abrir volume. Vale a pena investir grana no dsl 1 com esse objetivo ou não vai timbrar melhor que o jvm em baixo volume? Porque apesar dos dois master e volumes individuais a impressão é que é meio morno.
I have a few Marshall amps, but the only sort of 'modern' one being the DSL15C (out of production though). Might be fun to get this amp for kicks. Sounds great! Plus - FX loop, that's a plus since the 15W sadly lacks this... & I'm an appartement dweller atm so low power all the way nowadays.

Is the marshall dsl1hr better than the cr? I have the dsl1cr now and its thin sounding and lass less low end. Do you think if i get the head and a 1x12 cab improve and make my tone full? Thanks.
Daniel, o que acha de tocar ao vivo com esse cabecote? Leia tocar ao vivo: lugar pequeno (pub). Tenho uma caixa Marshall de 12" com Celestion 70/80 e tava pensando em: 1) Microfonar a caixa ou 2) Usar a saida emulada desse cabecote direto pra mesa. Valeu, abraco!
Very nice demo, was it direct recording (emulated output) or miced cabinet? I.m happy with all distorted and overdriven tones but the clean lacks a lot of bass and is too nasal..
@@ocanaldodani wow.... i must say the gain sound in this 1w is exactly what i want. I tried the dsl 40cr, but the gain sounds nothin like this 1w. Is it due to the lower wattage? Which cab was it ?

Hi, I noted that using the head without external speaker and with an headphone, switching from 1w to 0.1w there is no difference in volume. Seems that the power switching knob doesn't work. I'm still awaiting for an external speaker so I can't test it with. It it normal or an issue? I'm anxiously waiting a someone answer please. Thanks. Cheers.
Hi man, it is always mandatory that you connect the cabinet to a tube amplifier, otherwise it can burn out the transformers! I can't tell you precisely, because i always use it connected with a cabinet! I think you can wait until you cab arrives!
@@ocanaldodani hi, in general you would be right, but in this case for this amp surprisingly is not. It is clearly writted in the manual. You can go with the headphone without connection with the cab. The important is to disconnect the cab when amp is shouted off and by the rear socket. There is a dummy load which protect the amp. This has been confirmed also by an official Marshall in the Marshall forum....
Hi I finally received my external cabinet and also a response to my enquiry by marshall staff. Using the headphone doesn't impact any difference to the volume switching the power. The power knob works and when you use the external speaker, the difference in volume is quite evident. At this point the use of headphone is useless because at .1w and low volume you can still here uour sound from the cab without annoying anyone in the house...
You said you used an impulse? So how did you connect the amp to your interface? Preamp out? Because the direct out on the amp is already emulating a cab.
Seems like a prefect practise amp. I have a Blackstar HT-1 at the moment, but the limited EQ is a problem. This is just slightly more expensive and has much more tonal options. Oh, and it doesn't seem to sound bad eather!
Fala leandro tudo bem? Desculpe a demora em respondê-lo. Depende do estilo de som q vc toca e do seu baterista. Se vc toca um clean , no maximo um crunch e seu batera nao é pedreiro, o dsl1 ligado numa 4x12 segura sim! Agora se vc é do metalzao e seu baterista é mao de marreta, vai faltar, recomendo o novo dsl20 nesse caso.
o amigo quero agradecer pela ajuda, comprei o dsl1, rapaz eu liguei em um power com duas el34 que eu montei a um tempo atraz, sai uma sonzera de metal que faz o cara fica com cara feia, mas então, estou usando o send dele pra mndar o sinal pro power, no manual diz que pra ligar no fone de ouvido da pra desligar o alto falante, então estou na duvida, posso ligar ele sem o falante pra usar só o pré dele? abraço amigo!
Any idea if it has a tube cathode follower stage like the DSL20HR or not? There's one ECC83 less. Cathode follower adds to sustain and compression. Solid state phase inverter likely as well. Thanks.

Que da hora! Olha só um detalhe construtivo...tá! Eu sei q é um teste, mas a música do Iron vc está acentuando entre a palhentada alternada e o pull muting está diferente na parte do "refrão" do original. Tem uma coisinha errada aí....é só ouvir o som original que vc vai ver. O restante da música ta ok. Distorção muito Boa! Abc
Alexandre S. Carvalho manao, depende o som q vc toca, marshall sempre foi bem com celestion g12t75... tem a marshall 1936 2x12 que vem com esses falantes, fica animal!
Alexandre S. Carvalho pode ir no g12t75 sem medo nenhum! É seu som.. tem 2 modelos de caixa 2x12 marshall q vem equipada com eles: a 1922 e a 1936. Tem tb as 4x12 modelo 1960A e 1960B ! Vai sem medo
Alexandre S. Carvalho nao gosto do eminence legend gb128, é o falante mais simples da eminence, na vdd pra esse seu tipo de som com certeza absoluta é o g12t75, ja tive uma laney412 com os seventy 80 tb, achava eles sem sal .
holaa, yo tengo el mismo dsl1hr y es un gran amplificador, sonidos brutales en el canal hi gain y si le pones un tube screamer da unos tonos muy power, yo lo tengo con una caja 1x12 con celestion greenback a 16 ohms, lo uso a 0.1w por que en ese modo ya suena muy fuerte, también lo uso en ocasiones con audífonos conectando a la salida line emulada, es muy buena, en ese modo puedes desconectarlo de la cabinet y usar solo los audífonos así no metes ruido.
