Marshall JMP cathode cap test. 

I always end up without the 470pf on the cathode resistor as, at this stage, it is sufficient to dial the TS or the presence to tame the extra highs that you have without the cap. An alternative but interesting mod is to lower the 100k on the CF at around 50k. this will add asymmetrical distortion to the stage and it is interesting to test it :)

Dude that sounds great with or without the bypass cap. what else are you using to get that sound.

I think it sounded better without cap, less compressed maybe?

Is this a bypass cap on the v2 cathode 1? What mods are on this amp? Sounds really brown.
