I bought the stockwell 2 today, sounds like a real speaker, with some depth and ambience to the sound, having hardware bass and treble controls is a real bonus too...thoroughly recommend.....
It's not worth it has got one 10W woofer and two 5W tweeters. Tweeter is not so much useful better go with new Marshall Emberton 20W . Has two 10W drivers & passive radiators
Yeah maybe in the 70s lol not anymore... Marshall is just a name now... I'm and audiophile and literally listen to music for my hobby and I would never listen to either one of those Bluetooth pieces of shit... sound Quality is trash over Bluetooth... I have thousands of dollars in audio gear to hear every detail and i can tell u that Marshall is not on another league lmfao 🤣
It does not justify the price you can't hear any before you hit V7 , the only good thing about this is the look, (i have this fyi and i regret buying it)
Distinctive looking? Yes. Best looking? Maybe. I wish their logo weren’t screaming. Smaller and off to the corner would’ve been better. The sound coming from this speaker is amazing though, considering it’s size and price (I payed $129).
hi ! I am very disappointed by this speaker and the volume, there is almost no volumes from 1 to 7 ..... it starts only after 7 to 10, and even at max volume there is not the 35 watts RMS as per the spec, even if the bluetooth source is at the maximum volume, I have tried with several phones and also with the AUX in jack, same issues, do you have the same issue?
You’re right, this speaker doesn’t get really loud. One of the drawbacks that’s not really a dealbreaker for me as I knew this going in. I’m more enamored with the quality of the sound than the volume. With that said the speaker is 20 watts. Also, the volume of the device that your transmitting the audio from from is not synced to the speaker. So if your going to be controlling the volume from the speaker make sure that the source is turned all the way up, or vice versa. If that makes sense
Dexter thanks for your reply, but I think there is something wrong even with source at the maximum volume from 1 to 5 I have to put my hear on the speaker to hear something....So its not a portable speaker it's a headset. I have also tried to plug a source on the AV in input, asme issue more or less no sound with the volume for the speaker know from 0 to 5.... ecven at the max I am sure I don't have 20 w
@@waynedexter maybe..thanks for taking the time to respond ! as I don't have anb other same speaker to make a comparison, see the video I made, you will se at the end of the video, when I unplugged the Ipad from the speaker the osudn of the Ipad is louder than the MArshall speaker (I also did the tes in bluetooth but same issue. I dont know what do you think based on my video ? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-djfIvewwnrc.html
The AUX in this speaker is TERRIBLE. It falls asleep every second when there is silence and it takes about a second to wake up, sounds like audio dropping out. Good speaker otherwise, but this issue makes it unusable for me. This is a second Marshall product in a row that I return, they don’t really pay attention to detail ;(
I do not recommend this product. You will be charged a premium for this product with very poor customer service. This product has a regular battery issue and I experienced the same. I got a brand new Marshall speaker, Stockwell II. The battery did not work from the beginning. I communicated with Marshall's customer service for change/repair. After it was clarified that the speaker has a problem, they stopped replying to me and did not arrange for replacing/repairing the speaker.
Hi there, our opinion is that the Stockwell II would probably be slightly too small for busking. In an open area, you may wish to consider a larger speaker from the portable range such as the Kilburn II and Tufton. Hope that helps!
