I really enjoy watching players that orient their gameplay around mixups and winning multiple micro interactions. That’s the healthiest meta for the game in my opinion at least. Both these players fall in that category and it’s great to spectate.
@@jj6148 I mean I’m not saying he’s wrong or anything but he typically sneaks in that pre-game John whenever he can. Like come on, let’s not take away from WebbJP’s skill and gloss it over by making it about the match up.
True but I saw too many drops from Webb too, facing the wrong way multiple times, misstiming up smash after footstool oos, up smash not connecting while marss was on the platform etc.
@@Horfactnah if you watch it back Sheik is literally behind zss when the move hits, which makes sense why she falls out. Marss could have gone for something more appropriate to cover roll, but instead went for a misspaced/mistimed side-b that understandably doesn’t connect properly. Definitely a poor choice from Marss in this situation, or arguably a good choice from Webbjp to roll in lol

ZSS doesn't feel cohesive as a character. Something is missing. Moves don't kill or combo, her fsmash is a joke, and no combo/kill throws. What is her advantage other than paralyzer?
ZSS is the sickest character in the game but I don’t want her to be the best character in the game; like all those lame top tiers Aegis, Steve, Joker. Characters that are so much better and have answers for everything. Makes wins like Genesis 7 so dope when you’re not dominating with a broken character.
@@yurplethepurple2064 yeah Aegis is so sick, love her non stop hit box spamming, disjoints, insanely overwhelming speed, and unique combos that’s require precision and style.
@@yurplethepurple2064 oh and don’t let me forget Joker, the character with a neutral b that invalidates entire characters without requiring skill to use, hype comeback mechanic that rewards you for being bad, cool counter/reflector used intricately in any situation to keep pressure off and easily kill opponents recovering, and of course his supremely hype ability to pancake while fishing for his totally rad kill confirm with fair 1 with his already incredibly thin hitbox. You’re right man definition of hype these 2, amazing to see these complete underdogs able to beat those broken characters out there.
Wowwww this is what a losing matchup for zss looks like? It's so winnable! This character is BROKEN and I predict a rise to meta prominence by the end of 2024, ESPECIALLY with her incredible matchups on sonic and steve
Also two mentions: The feint-fishing movement from ZSS at 8:35 is immaculate and at 10:12 she should be able to definitively kill right then and there. Sad ZSS.
