The general disrespect for this option is so strongly engrained that people will almost always underestimate it, which is great for Marths!

The tip on dictating rhythm at the ledge is insanely good, it's interesting that marth at the ledge is able to achieve leverage in such a shitty spot by just waiting some extra frames and changing the cadence of play.

Great video. I also notice Marths (Zain) do up-b ledge stalls to make space by ledge to get back safely. Perhaps you could analyze this too (if you haven't already)

I never ledge-dash for this reason and am more likely to use the tournament-winner lol. I almost always fair onto ledge as well, but, though it's a bit harder, but I try to go for nair onto ledge when I can. (If you do it just right, it even auto-cancels!)

huge problem with nair from ledge is that they can hold down the first hit and reversal you

@@KoDoRiN Really? I haven't been able to try it successfully enough to know that, but I figured you had a reason for preferring fair since I'm a noob and you're a pro. I also see Zain do it fairly often, and so kind of just assumed that meant it was better lol.

How do I have it display the frames that you're on for like "State: Cliffwait" ect. ? is there a specific gecko code for it?

my issue is even if i do a fakeout, they never fall for it and im just stuck at ledge. if i somehow avoid the fsmash and try to run past then ill get dsmashed

When I do this they always cc obliterate my ass. You need the ledgedash as a mixup even if its trash

Cc can still beat ledgedash. I even mentioned that cc can beat the fair. You can fake the fair, do the lowest fair, or m2k fair which I didn't discuss where you don't drift forward and regrab ledge.

My problem is that m2k fair doesnt reach them at distances where they can still cc your hop in fair, so I guess faling the fair is the best way to deal with cc?
