I was made aware that there is an error at 0:51 and its only on mobile. Not sure what's going on but if you can try yo watch on PC, RU-vid is being difficult atm. I'll try and see what I can do.
Glad this is getting talked about more. I always found DB1 B Reverses and Wavebounces to be the next step to improve Marth's gameplay overall, so hearing more players acknowledge and incorporate them fills me with hope for the future.
I finally found a main: Wario. My secondary is prob Cap Falcon but I’m not super good with him. I might switch my secondary to Marth or I might keep Cap Falcon as my secondary and have Marth as my “secondary secondary”. That is grammatically correct. English is wonderful
I like Marth I just wish he had maybe a projectile or something so he could deal with campers a bit better. That’s not gonna happen but I still like the way he plays
I have been using more and more wavebounce and reverse side B. And damn, when you get the hang of it it feels like Marth is a different character. It really helps him with mobility. Just wish it had more hitstun like in Smash 4. Something that I go for a lot, it's when trying to land close to the opponent with a nair/upair/dair. And then going for a combo or kill confirm if it hits.
Tbh wavebounce and side b reverse are alsmost the same. Just depends if you wanna do fair or bair. Personally i think bair is a better edge guarding tool
I did it once and it felt cheap. This was a random and he was actually pretty good. So i decided to play a fair game after that 1st stock. I'd rather practice ledge trapping then get and easy stock off of chrome.
