Два гениальных музыканта- сейчас уже таких нет. Как же потрясающе у нее звучит рояль, просто чудо! Она его гладит, ласкает, любит, а не как наши современные пианисты колотят и бьют и при этом хотят чтобы он звучал разнообразно, piano они вообще не умеют играть, получается беззвучно и пресно, а у Аргерих любое пиано всегда звучит наполненно и содержательно. Потрясающая пианистка! Дай Бог им обоим здоровья и еще долго радовать людей всего мира своим искусством!
One sees her now and then at the supermarket, here in Geneva. I liked how Ozawa said "She did it about 20% faster, tonight". Yes, one must be prepared for anything, as a conductor.
Heard him and NY Phil in summer 1965 in Crocheron Park queen's NY. Was raining. Played beethoven 9 after an overture. Decided to do the 4th movement first. Raining so hard afterwards they canceled the rest of it. Everyone was soaked. A great memory!
She IS as beautiful as she is brilliant and lovable. But for God's sake, how do you expect her to limp on to the stage with only one high heeled shoe on!
When, where? Did Maestro Ozawa say something? I coudn't get it. Read Charles Rosen's book about mistakes great pianists made even in recordings...Horovitz, Rubinstein... I understood he mentioned speed, but couldn't get the failure, please, would you tell me?
