Actually the girl you were referring to is a man who is also trained in numerous martial arts and helped with the choreography. You can RU-vid the behind the scenes for this.
Oh thanks a ton, I really appreciate that! I want you guys to know that I would be open and honest with stuff which is why I disclose or don't make any "claims" unless I mean it. But that compliment still makes my day!! :) Thanks for tuning in, hope to see you at the next one!
"Compare this stiff looking thing with John Wick." It's called playing a different character. Why not compare John Wick with Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and see who's more animated?
Well I was actually more talking about acting skills, which by no means am I an expert on haha. It's like Leonardo Dicaprio (in and around the time revenant was coming out) he mentioned that although Titanic was uber successful for him and his acting career.. he actually doesn't like his acting skills in that movie! Compared to him fleshing out his skills by the time for example.. Inception came out there's a huge difference! I know what you mean about the characters though haha. Thanks for tuning in!
@@BruiseLeeReact that’s acting skills he’s displaying… neo is supposed to be more robotic even from the first matrix he was pretty normal and by the end he’s monotone and stiff. Wick is emotional, hurting and grieving and that’s how he’s acting.
Short version of the plot recap - Neo and Team trying to rescue Older Guy. He runs, and Morpheus and Trinity follow while Neo deals with baddies. The Twins have morphing skills that can allow them to pass through matter, but then they can’t hit anything, so they can alter themselves to avoid injury, but now they can pass through their surroundings. And PS, it’s a guy. When he says “She’ll be the death of me”, he was talking about his wife, who led Neo and Team past the guards. And I also agree that the Sai are a bit short. I would have chosen the Escrima sticks, it has a bit more reach. Love this reaction. Can you do Neo vs Seraph? It’s also from this movie, and it’s a guy in a white Chinese outfit. It’s much earlier than this scene.
Hey! Thanks so much for tuning in! I 100% agree on the Escrima sticks haha. Especially for multiple opponents I think it would make his time a lot easier to fight that many opponents at once. I have 0 recollection of the movie even after your recap haha maybe I need to watch again! I LOVE that scene with the Seraph! Funny enough I actually did film a reaction for it but I never released because the audio glitched out. I'll re-record it and upload it for ya though :)
@@BruiseLeeReact I really miss being able to do Escrima. I have tendonitis now, so I don't have the arm strength anymore. But it's an excellent way to maintain distance, against one opponent. More than one, I'm not sure how you could block multiple attacks sufficiently.
This fight is very "traditional chinese fight"-inspire. To me this automatically swap from realism to entertainment. As for the physics... well story-wise Neo is somewhat capable of influencing the matrix so it kinda make sense for things like "a dagger piercing a shield" to happen. Of course it isn't seem real. And finally I believe it's pronounced the same way it is in french since it is a french word: Mérovingien. The "é" sounds like "hey", "in" kinda sounds like "en" in the word "end", "gien" would be "jee en" with "en" being the same as before. It's kinda hard to me to find the proper explanation I recommend looking it up on google. As usual cool video.
i just commented this without seeing this comment xD yeah, people compare neo to superman and the truth is that neo is psychic, not physically strong, he can change the density in his muscles too!
Nice reaction... but everyone needs to know that the bad guys are some kind of programs that are more dificult to kill than humans and the slash doesnt work a lot on them...maybe thats is why Neo leaves the sword inside is opponent...
Neo is meant to be able to see/read things ahead of time and he's able to break the laws of physics (as are the people he's fighting) so you can't apply realism into your analysis of the fight.
If you think about the way The Matrix works, it actually makes sense that he can block things when he doesn't even know that they're coming. I mean, he can do a backflip 20 feet into the air. He can do incredible strength things that no human being can do. He can fly. So you know I find it believable that he can basically make a fight look like a choreographed fight in a movie... even though that's actually what it is...🤷🙄 That's my way of making it seem realistic... It's basically a loophole in the way they designed "the matrix" as a concept... the way they just do things, by will, because it's a computer program....not real life.

That morning star weapon is an ancient medieval weapon. Of course, it's not good in real combat in today's world or in movies. Unless it's a viking movie...lol
