I watched both parts of your blogs. I appreciate the effort. But you could have done better. You should have started it with "why", "how" and "what". Why is martial law was declared? How was martial law was declared? And what was the effect of the declaration of martial law? And since there's always two side of the story, you should have gathered more data to compare and more resource person to listen. It's not that the people you interviewed was making up stories, maybe they really had the bad experience about it, but how about the people who doesn't had? God bless

What were the roles of these people who you invited to speak during the martial law? No one tries to revise the history. People sharing a different side of the story didn't mean to negate other peoples' story of sufferings. You are the ones labeling them with such. Why don't you set aside your ill meaning of others who are simply stating facts about their personal truth that they considered to have found peace and order the time of martial law. They are not saying that people telling their stories of sufferings are not true. Stop the culture of antagonizing people who doesn't share the same story with the others.

Yung mama ko at lola ko na abutan nila ang martialaw . until now ina apply nila samin kung paano sila namuhay nung martialaw .lage nga nila sinasabi na sana bumalik nalang daw ulit yung panahon na yon kasi mga kabataan noon ahy mas nakikinig sa mga magulang noon .28 na ako ngayon at still undecided kung sino pipiliin kong pangulo .pero sa family ko na nakaranasa nung panahon ni marcos .lage nilang sinasabi na mas ma ayos ang buhay nila noon. Natutuwa pa nga mag kwento ang mama ko about sa baon nya na cents lang daw pero madami ng mabibili . kaya diko nadin alam kung sino ang papakingan ko .ang magulang ko na nakaranas ng martialaw oh ang mga kwentong asa libro. Na never naman nabangit ng mga kamag anak ko na naging misirable sila nung panahon ng martialaw🙃 #undecided

janina, walang nakwento ang lolo at lola mo na masama sa martial law pero sa ibang mga tao ay merong masamang karanasan,tama ka pero ang mga nakaranas ay mga pasaway na studyanteng mahilig sa rally,mga npa na walang ginawa kundi mag tambang ng mga sundalo,mga sparrow unit ng npa na pumapatay sa mga taong walang kalaban laban,yang mga ininterview mo ay mga pasaway siguro noong martial law kc pueo masamang karanasan ang kanilang mga kwento,yong mga hindi pasaway sa lipunan noong panahon ng martial law ay sinasabing tahimik ang buhay noon at mura ang bilihin,at laging may supply na kleem milk,corn powder at nutribun na tinapay sa mga public school,disiplinado pa ang mga kabataan noon.,73 years old na ako kaya ang sinasalaysay ko ay naka gisnan ko noon.

During Martial Law my uncle fled because he went to the top University back then & they are targetting intelligent people as well or else he would have been dead. From my dad, I heard it was really bad!! So please vote wisely.

One of the stories of my mom was about this no due process. In our place Someone was arrested without due process. I think he was in prison for 10 years before he was released. My mom would always wonder if that man wasn't arrested, then maybe all of his children went to school and had a better life. She said "sayang matatalino pa sila". One might wonder bakit hindi nila pinag aral ang sarili nila or nasan ang nanay nila. But the economic situation at that time was so poor. She said you can even see children walking in Baguio City without shoes. People working in the government had very low salary comparing to someone working in private companies. My parents are always thankful that the Martial Law ended. On the other hand, she said that this people like her age, who still believe that the late president was a good president, maybe they did not experience the level of poverty that they were in.

Dig deeper. CPP NPA is rampant that time.

WHATS THE POINT? Ayt cool.. Ive always been wondering why hindi padin matapos tapos ang usaping marcoses at aquinos.. pero meron naman tayong common goal.. wala naman sakin kung sinong manalo.. IF AND ONLY IF.. iddisregard lang nila kung ano nangyare sa nakaraan in both parties.. (not forget, but it must not be the basis) and magseserbisyo lang sila ng matino.. kasi walang mangyayare we will just forever be divided.. lahat naman matatamasa ang success if one leader achieved his/her goal.. its good to "educate" people about such thing PERO paano to? The government during Marcos era waged a war against an armed rebellion of CPP NPA. For every war, there are always innocent casualties. That’s true anywhere in the world. I think many Marcos supporters believe minority yung innocent casualties. That’s how they reconcile Marcos admin human rights violations and their support of BBM. Afaik ganyan ang thinking nila Imagine, had the yellows and human rights advocates managed to jail the main participants in ML HR violations, those that are buhay pa obviously, there will be 0 doubt in people’s mind about the events that surround the ouster of Marcos. Heck, 40 years na, ni hindi pa rin nalaman sino or nakasuhan ang mastermind of Ninoy killing? Guess yellows cannot sell us on their anti Marcos narrative for so long keep blaming the Marcoses when they are in power and remain major political players in the last 40 years. 2 aquino president, Ramos, even Erap was ousted with the help of Cory, GMA was endorsed by Ramos, so do we need more proof the yellows were powerful players after Marcos era and yet still not able to recover stolen wealth and jail human rights violators and found out who mastermind the Ninoy killing? Kaya naman there are those believe na political lang ang pag bring up sa ML everytime may election. Do they want to keep doing it for the next 100 years?
