Stephen Watson my oldest friend, grew up together he played Paul. Tragically died on his honeymoon 1986. What an actor he would be today. Angus Durham.
7th June 24 I am currently watching the repeats on That's TV channel 56. Stephen was a lovely actor, I remember when it happened it was shocking and terribly sad. I am sorry for your loss.
Still cannot believe that's William Gaunt from The Champions. Every time I see him in this show, he looks and sounds like Roy Marsden from the early P.D. James shows.
Stephen Reeds I don’t know about all of them but The one who played the other brother died, the one who played Raymond ended up in Waiting For God and William Gaunt was an established actor who was in The Champions in the 60’s among other things.

Loathed it. Cardboard cut out characters in stereotypical settings. Man of the house has to solve everything. So formulaic...and that next door neighbour wife? God help us. Typical middle class problems.
I would rather have "..man of the house solves everything.." than "...father is the biggest idiot and even the youngest child is smarter than him" woke shite we have today.
