Hi, sooparticular. The two guitars are very similar in size. The bodyshapes are obviously different but they’re both slightly shrunk down bodies and have shorter scale lengths. Get them side by side in a room away from ambient music store noise. PLAY BOTH. A lot. Try each without amplification. Then both with amplification. Take along a friend(guitarist) or teacher to your demo and get his/her feedback. Ask yourself how you will use this guitar-- is your goal to play out? Play for friends around a fire pit? Kick around with it at home? All of the above? Play a few of your favorite songs on them. Your ears will tell you which way to go! 😊👍 Which neck is most comfortable to you? For me .... the Taylor that I selected has a more narrow profile neck and is super comfortable. Personally... I'm a Taylor guy. But ... I sold Martin guitars in a leading music store for five years. They both have fine options. Good luck!
