Martin DR Centennial Demo & Review 

That is a really good package that Martin has put together.

For those interested these have forward shifted scalloped bracing. Simple dovetail neck joint. I guess the simple dovetail allows them to use the forward shifted bracing. It is as close to a D28 or D18 as you can get without the bling or ebony fret board.

Anyone knows the name of the spng he plays at the end of the video?

I've been looking at the M-36 and the DR Centennial and I can't make up my mind. The price-point on the DR is phenomenal and the M-36 is prettier. I've compared the specs side by side and they are very similar as far as the build. I do like the DR because of the 100 year anniversary and I think I prefer the slightly wider nut width on the DR, I just need to make up my mind. Also, I believe the case is a bit better on the M-36.

Got a 2016 Centennial, VTS Addy and Rosewood, came with simple white binding front and back, gloss finish all over, ebony fingerboard and sadldle, bone nut and pins. Love it.

What bracing is this? Forward shifted standard or forward shifted I think A frame? Thanks.

Is the top gloss finish?

It's fantastic value I just wished they'd of used a ebony fretboard and I'd of probably bought one but I suppose they need to cut costs somewhere
