Dude Jose has literally been the best addition to the podcast. Never knew he was such a funny guy. Really appreciate his presence. BUT WE NEED AN EPISODE WITH IAIN AND JOSE!!!!
Fucking Jose is awesome. He literally can't be rattled, he's unshakeable and always so calm, and then deadpan hits people with comments and comebacks, the contrast of his attitude and presentation versus Guy is so fun to watch. Also, definitely get Iain and Jose on a show together! Make that happen next week Hoss!:)
Just one man's opinion over here. But I believe that I speak for many of us in saying I appreciate the upfront gear talk and dosages. Those who don't want to believe what you're saying or perceive it differently f*** 'em. But this is a bodybuilders podcast and it's just a part of "a day in the life" for most of us. Especially TRT once in your 40's. So I say thank you for the openness fellas.
I like that you guys tell everything. I like that you are transparent. I believe that it is more beneficial than it is harmful. I was hanging with the boys some years back and we were talking about "chasing the dragon" and we were wondering how the name came to be. And we found a website with info on every single drug you can possibly find and how to use it, how to prepare it, how much is too much, what to do if this or that goes wrong. The website was full of information. Their reasoning for sharing all of that and posting it online was to help people to be as safe as possible while doing drugs. And i stand behind it 100%. Why? Because you can't control people. You can tell them not to do this or they should instead do that, but, at the end of the day, they are in control of their lives and you can't really stop that. You can influence it in a good or a bad way. Anyway, those are my 2 cents on the topic. Love the podcast as always Fouad. Love the boys too. Cheers
Heavy set was almost the stack after the stack plus added weight push downs thick grip 55’s shoulder press dumbbells for five from two and a half days ago tell Big Ramy I’m coming lol 😂
the best athlete of any given amateur show is the overall winner of that class. the best bodybuilder in the world would be the overall winner between classes in the Olympia. that would be the one who deserves the real best bodybuilder in the world title. would be awesome having the overall for the olympia
I agree with you Fouad about discussing PED use on the podcast. You are providing incredible value by acting as resource about ifbb pro gear usage. People are going to make the personal decision to use regardless if your podcast existed or not. You are just providing an alternate source of information vs the bogus discussion boards. In fact, i think the ex pro and Guy’s stance on this is dangerous. The more information from credible sources available the better!!
Hey Fuad!! I love your podcast. I wanted to ask you is it gooood with 250 mg tes every 5 weeks for 3,4 months ? I did before 250 every 5 day! for 3,4 months
REGARDING PIZZA: The best pizza is actually from New Haven, Connecticut. I know that this topic is and has been subjective for eons, however, fairly recently, Dave Portnoy, from Barstool Sports, who has become a, and perhaps, THE, pizza connoisseur of our time, has gone all over the world, trying all of the most renowned pies out there, video recording himself, his reaction, and the score he gives each pie, and after trying all of the best pies in the country including both NY and CT (which, unbeknownst to most, are the two states that have been battling for the title of best pizza forever - sorry NJ), Dave Portnoy, as of only a couple years ago, finally made made his final conclusion and proclaimed New Haven as the winner of the Title of the PIzza Capital of the World. In response to this new accolade, the governor of Connecticut passed a bill, an actual, legal document, making Pizza the official food of the State of Connecticut. Being a pizza connoisseur myself, I have also tried all the top places in both NY and CT, and I can confirm that as good as NY pizza is, New Haven pizza is on another level. Pictures don't do it justice; you need to actually taste it. If you live in the city, and believe that NY has the best, hop on a train, it's 2 hours to New Haven, go to Modern Apizza, Sally's, Pepe's, BAR, and if you want, you can go 10 minutes west to West Haven, where you can try Zuppardis, or Mike's.
Re: the steroid conversation, i think it's EXCELLENT that you guys talk about it. I literally just got home from the gym where a young kid loaded 600kg on the leg press (10cm ROM) and then couldn't hit a 100kg squat. He's been watching Eddie Hall and Brian Shaw on YT and wants to be like them. Upon questioning, he had ZERO idea that pro strongmen take steroids.
Yo every year they do this. They make your old iPhones not work for a little to make you tell yourself I need a new phone lol. I got the 11 pro. Happens every year they release a new phone lol.
so I thought in the underwear ad you said "juul pouch." I'm thinking to myself, why do I need a pouch for my juul down there, but realized you meant JEWEL pouch. Hmm.
the best way to phrase the steroid talk is "people are going to do it whether it's legal or not, and there's a much safer way to go about doing it, so why can't/shouldn't we educate people, for free, about their health and safety"
Love the podcast. Nick is hilarious says he's going to try and keep doing the podcast but says less and less every week. I was afraid he wasn't going to say anything lol. 🤣
Yeah please keep doing what you're doing anybody that knows anything about bodybuilding knows when people are on stuff and when they're not and by talking about it the only thing you could do is help people the ones that don't like it aren't on gear so I don't even know why they're worried about it
I love your honesty regarding transgender athletes, however i feel its important for you guys to have a transgender athlete on a podcast to fully understand the process, it isn't just about taking testosterone
I see good points made by you Fouad, as well as Jose and Guy. But I don’t think the general public is aware of steroids as much as you think. I discuss it often with people that aren’t into bodybuilding and they aren’t even aware that someone like the Rock is on PED’s! Or that it is very prevalent in sports and Hollywood these days. To people that are in bodybuilding or follow it, it’s obvious. But I still think the general population believe that huge bodybuilders are the majority of ones using gear.
My try lol 😂 I had a fireball double shot of whiskey 🥃 lol with a Mountain Dew black cherry 6percent malt beverage lol 😂 that good lightly breaded thick fresh boneless chicken 🍗 with mashed potatoes packet and a half of salt Texas Pete Tabasco lol a Red Bull and monster green energy drinks plus water 💦 lol 😂
Steroids shouldn’t be illegal their no where near as dangerous or addicting as narcotics. In the uk they cool with it even in Brazil. I think the “pro” that said he’s against talking about gear is a dude that is envious and doesn’t want people to get jacked and huge
Im 20 and have been lifting/bodybuilding for the past 2 1/2 years. Also been watching the pod for about 2 years. I am natural and plan on staying that way until I am unsatisfied with my rate of progress. I can confidently say that the information you guys provide about steroids, not only encourages me to continue lifting naturally; but if I do decide to take steroids I will be well informed about doses, side effects, ect. i definitely think transparency is important especially with something risky like steroids.
I was natural until my 30's and it was a good choice. I see a lot of young dudes hopping on and having a plethora of issues. I know 19 year olds that dick doesn't work lol..not worth it.
I’d argue deer hunting isn’t cheaper than grocery store lol. Between the gear, rifle, ammo, and time it takes to hunt, find something, kill it, bring back, prep it.. between actual Cost and opportunity cost.. grocery store wins by a mile lol
I did my first cycle in my early 20s and did it completely wrong. I'm halfway through another cycle in my mid 30s and I really appreciate you all talking about it, it helps a lot. It's illegal for ridiculous reasons in the first place, if we want to use then we should who am I hurting?? However, let's do it in the healthiest way possible. Thanks guys!!
José is a great addition to the crew.. So were as guy is a bit hot headed and excitable, ( both funny and knowledgeable) ..José is laid back and considered.. They compliment one and other brilliantly.. Jose is cooler than the cool side of the pillow.
Jose is not only a very funny addition to the podcast but has interesting and unique information and insight into questions asked of him. Great stuff. One of my favorite podcasts in a while. Tons of great topics
Strength matters, YES. But while bodybuilding (maximising muscle gain) , stuff is more about de-leveraging so that we can exhaust the intended muscle. It's a blissful mix of strength and other stimulus of training.
Definitely at the beginning but once you reach a strength level you got to do other intensifiers because when you're James and Ian benching six plates you can't do that all the time you'll get hurt
@@patkelly8372 not every week, no. I have exercises in my plan in which I progress weekly. But I also have some exercises that are more about burning the muscle out and all that. I enjoy this type of training more.
The Derek invite.....the biggest advantage he is getting by not having to qualify is only having to peak for the big show. If he had to qualify ( which I think he should have to) he has to diet down and peak for that show and then the O. So by getting the invite it basically extended his off-season, providing him the chance to come in at his absolute best and I don't think that's fair to the guys that have qualified this year.
@@themonsoon117 no its not. If he were forced to compete for the qualification, we'd see him compete twice... And it'd bring money to some smaller show as well
@@chrisodongookubasu134 I agree, she should be able to do both because Shaun would still be under 212. For Kamal or Derek they would have to choose because they couldn't do both due to differences in weight/condition. Ex: if they said Derek could do both, well he obviously wouldn't be competitive in th open for having to make weight for 212. Since Shaun still isn't 212( which is insane) he could do both
Would anyone really be against getting rid of the points system to qualify? Surely having it just as pro show winners and top 5 makes way more sense as a “best of the best” contest?
Olympia should have All 3 Champs from Classics , 212 & Open do a Fan Pose down then Fans Vote In ' Peoples Champ ' Shaun Clarida should be allow to do Both 212 & Open Olympia. Top 3 in Olympia should Automatically Qualify for next years O.
Personally since I’ve been watching the podcast I’ve started getting blood work, gotten healthier, dropped dosages and have seen better results because I was previously doing stupid amounts that I found online. Please don’t stop talking about these things
Fouad.. Give José the heads up please.. Don't want him traveling to the wrong country.. At. 1:21:18 he said " I'm going to Buenos Aires Brazil".. Buenos Aires is in Argentina... Just saying
