It's not unusual that they stay on the meadow when they have plenty of things to explore, but this time they went home. :)

Oh, I definitely think some - especially young kids - would find a dark and foggy meadow a bit scary. 😊

​@@everydaycatstories319 Haha I absolutely loved walking in the dark in the country side when I was a kid. Where I come from, we see fog almost every day ! That mysterious atmosphere is just the best ! 🤗 The only thing I don't like is the cold humidity. 😋😆

It happens now and then that Mads just shows up in the middle of it all. Typically, he’ll have been outside already when we left the house with Martin. 😊

@@thefamilyjules6142 It’s around 600 meters. The other cats sometimes did part of the route too, but none of them were as consistent as Martin - he is the first one to follow the humans all the way in most cases.

Two cats disappeared in a grassy meadow, this footage was found a year later. Turns out they came home and went inside.

Yeah, but I’ve heard that cats don’t believe in ghosts. 😅

Sure. 😊 For decades, the cats of the house have occassionally followed us on walks to the lake, so it’s a natural thing to do, but while the other cats normally lost focus after 100 hundred meters or so (because of territory borders or other dangers), Martin is much more consistent, and as a result of that his brother Mads has also realized that those walks are quite fun. The first walks were in the late spring of 2022, I think.
